PSTM means the Persons Studied in Tamil Medium. This implies that the candidates who have completed their SSLC, HSC, and degree in Tamil medium will be considered as a PSTM student and they have the right to get the PSTM certificate.

The State Government has announced the 20 % of reservation for PSTM Candidates in public services examination.

It is mandatory to possess PSTM certificate if you are willing to avail for reservation.

Candidates who have studied only SSLC or HSC or degree in Tamil Medium will not be considered as a PSTM student.
