What is the exam pattern for CESE exam in TNPSC?

The Combined Engineering Services Examination is held by TNPSC for a total of 500 marks. The mark split up and pattern is as follows:-

1. PAPER I : 300 Marks

This will be conducted for 3 hours duration and it will be on the main subject of which the candidate has acquired the degree.

2.PAPER II : 200 MARKS

This will be conducted for 2 hours duration and it consists of general studies and aptitude.

3.INTERVIEW : 70 MARKS

TOTAL : 570 MARKS
