TNPSC Recruitment 2018 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Village Administrative Officer – Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.
• Junior Assistant (Non – Security) – Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.
• Junior Assistant (Security) – Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.
• Bill Collector, Grade-I – Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.
• Field Surveyor  – Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.
• Draftsman  – Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.
• Typist  

1. Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.
2. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:- i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or) iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

• Steno-Typist (Grade–III)

1. Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.
2. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:- i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English (or) iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil

Age Limit: (As on 1st July 2017)

• Minimum Age to apply: 21 Years
• Maximum 30 Year of Age to apply

TNPSC Recruitment 2018 – Pay Scale

• Steno-Typist: ₹ 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay ₹. 2,800/-  Per Month
• All Other Posts: ₹ 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay ₹. 2,400/-  Per Month

TNPSC Recruitment 2018 – Application Fee

• One Time Registration Fee – ₹ 150/- (Applicants who have already registered in one time Registration system within the validity period of 5 years are exempted.)
• Examination Fee – ₹ 100 /-
