TNPSC Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination Recruitment educational qualification 2021 :
The Tamilnadu Public Service Commission board has set an educational qualification and eligibility criteria to apply for the Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination. The qualifications are clearly mentioned below for each post.
1.Computor vaccine store keeper in Public Health and Preventive Medicine Department:
• A degree in Statistics or a Degree in Mathematics with Statistics as a special subject or having qualified in any one of the following subjects namely:
• Fundamental Statistics, Applied Statistics Probability and Applied Statistics and Basic Statistics for actuarial Science.
• Fundamental Statistics and Applied Statistics.
• Applied Statistics only.
• Probability and Applied Statistics.
• Practical Statistics and Statistics interference.
2. Block Health Statistician in Family Welfare Department :
• A Degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
3. Statistical Assistant in Food Safety & Drug Administration Department :
• A Masters degree in Mathematics or Statistics with working knowledge of computer statistical tools. (Refer Annexure-III of this notification)
Note:
• The Educational qualification prescribed for these posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the following order of studies viz.10th + HSC or its equivalent + U.G degree + P.G. degree as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. Results of the examination should have been declared on or before the date of this notification. (Section 20(4)(iv) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016)
• The qualifications considered as equivalent are indicated in Annexure-I to this Notification.
• Applicants claiming equivalence of qualification to the prescribed qualification should upload and submit evidence for equivalence of qualification in the form of Government Order issued on or before the date of this notification and produce it when called for, failing which, their application will be summarily rejected. The Government Orders regarding equivalence of qualification issued after the date of this notification will not be accepted.
TNPSC Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination Recruitment salary 2021 :
The pay scale of an individual being selected into the post by Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination is given as follows:-
1.Computor vaccine store keeper in Public Health and Preventive Medicine Department:
• Rs.19,500 to 62,000/-
• Level-8 (Revised Scale)
2. Block Health Statistician in Family Welfare Department :
• Rs.20,600 to 65,500/-
• Level-10 (Revised Scale)
3. Statistical Assistant in Food Safety & Drug Administration Department
• Rs.35,900 to 1,13,500/-
• Level13 (Revised Scale)
TNPSC Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination Recruitment age limit 2021 :
The candidates who are interested and willing to apply for the TNPSC CSSE should satisfy the age limit criteria as mentioned below according to the category they belong :-
Others‟ [i.e., Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC(V)s, MBC and DNCs, MBCs, BCs and BCMs] :
• 30 years* (Should not have completed)
SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC(V)s, MBC and DNCs, MBCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes :
• No maximum age limit
Note :
• No Maximum age limit shall means that the applicants should not have completed 60 years of age either on the date of notification or at the time of selection /appointment to the post.
Age Concession:
For Persons with Benchmark Disability :
• Persons with Benchmark Disability are eligible for age concession upto 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed. (Section 64 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016)
For Ex-servicemen:
• The maximum age limit for ex-servicemen is 50 years. (Section 63 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016)
• The above mentioned age concession will not apply to the ex-servicemen applicants who have already been recruited to any class or service or category. (Section 3(j) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016)
TNPSC Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination Recruitment selection Procedure 2021 :
The Selection procedure for recruiting aspirants into the Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination is of two stages. On clearing both the stages ,the person will be appointed as per the cut off and priority criteria.
The two stages are ,
1. Written Examination
2. Certificate Verification
Written Examination :
The Board will conduct a written examination of two papers i.e., PAPER I & PAPER II . This will be for 500 Marks and held in a single day. Upon clearing this examination, the candidates will be shortlisted to the next stage.
Certificate Verification :
Certificate Verification will be held for candidates who have passed and cleared the Examination. The candidates are advised to carry all the required documents to the verification hall if selected.
TNPSC Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination Recruitment exam pattern 2021 :
The exam pattern for both the papers are given below :-
PAPER I :
This will be a subject paper of degree standard held for 3 hours duration. The total marks for this examination will be 300 Marks comprising of 200 questions in total. The subject paper is of candidate’s choice and can chose from any one of the following as per their educational qualification:
1. Statistics ( Code No : 274)
2. Mathematics ( Code No : 276)
3. Economics ( Code No : 275)
PAPER II :
This is General Studies Paper held for 200 Marks in total. There will 100 questions and the duration for this paper is 2 hours. The mark split up for this paper is :-
• General studies – 75 Questions
• Aptitude & Mental Ability – 25 Questions
• Total – 100 Questions
PAPER I : 300 MARKS
PAPER II : 200 Marks
Total : 500 Marks
Note :
• The question paper for both the papers will be set in English & Tamil.

How To Apply?
The Application mode is to be done in online and the steps to be followed are as follows :
• Visit the official website http://www.tnpsc.gov.in for the latest notification list.
• Search for “TNPSC CESE Recruitment Notification 2021 “ and download it.
• Read the notification carefully and thoroughly.
• After reading it , check whether you have met the eligibility standard.
• If so, then continue filling the application form.
STUDENTS ALDREADY ENROLLED IN ONE TIME REGISTRATION ( OTR):
Those who have already enrolled in one time registration ( OTR) follow the mentioned steps:-
1. Login with your login id & password given to you at the time of registration.
2. Then start entering the details carefully.
3. Submit your online application form.
4. Make your online payment as mentioned in the notification.
5. Take a print out for your future reference.
STUDENTS NOT ENROLLED IN OTR:
For students who have not registered in one time registration, following are the details to apply online:
1. Click on “One time registration “.
2. Enter all your details carefully by filling up the application form.
3. Upload your recent photograph and signature.
4. Make sure that your details are correct and enroll yourselves.
5. Make your registration fees after the submit option.
6. You will be provided with a login id and password. Take a note of it which is valid for 5 years.
7. Login with your login id & password given to you at the time of registration.
8. Submit your online application form.
9. Make your online payment for the examination fees .
10. Take a print out for your future reference.
TNPSC Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination Recruitment examination fees 2021 :
The registration fees and the Examination fees to be paid by the candidates to apply for this recruitment is given below :-
• Registration Fees : The Registration fees is Rs.150/- valid for 5 years. Linking Aadhaar card with one time registration is mandatory.
• Examination Fees : The fees to be paid for the Examination is Rs.100/-. The candidates who have concession need not pay the Examination fees.
Note :
• Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Tribes, Persons with Benchmark Disability and Destitute Widow of all categories are fully exempted from Examination fees.
TNPSC Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination Recruitment fitness form 2021 :
The candidates should submit this fitness form at the time of appointment as per the post they have been selected .
Computor vaccine store keeper :
• The Standard of vision should be Std III or better
• Form prescribed for executive posts
Block Health Statistician :
• The Standard of vision should be Std III or better.
• Form prescribed for other than ministerial and executive posts.
Statistical Assistant :
• The Standard of vision should be Std I.
• Form prescribed for other than ministerial and executive posts
