Tnpsc Group 1 Posts Salary Pay Scale Details: Details about Tnpsc Group 1 Posts Salary Pay Scale Details are Updated here. Tamilnadu has been recruiting the Candidates through its official Recruiting Organisation stated as TAMIL NADU PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION and in other words it is known to all with its familiar Name “TNPSC”.This is the top level Organisation in recruiting the State Government Officers and so the job will be stated as the State Government Job. Through this Particular organisation they have been Recruiting Candidates for various post such as-

1. Group 1.
2. Group 1 A.
3. Group 1 B.
4. Group 2.
5. Group 2 A.
6. Group 3.
7. Group 4.
8. Group 5 A.
9. Group 7.
10. Group 8.
11. VAO.

All these posting have been processed by the single Organisation TNPSC. Among all those Examinations Group 1 is considered to be the Top level Exam as they will be recruiting Officer Cadre who is responsible for all the managing activities in the District. So the Group 1 Examination is considered to be one of the high level Exam and most preferred job among the TNPSC Aspirants. The reason behind joining as a Candidate joining as a Group 1 officer will be later Promoted as IAS, IPS officers in the State based on his Performance in certain span of Years. Here we will be discussing the posting and the Salary Details given to the Group 1 Officers.

The Group 1 Examination conducting by TNPSC will be mostly for the following jobs-

• • DEPUTY COLLECTOR. – Tamil Nadu Civil Service
  • DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE (DSP). -Tamil Nadu Police Service
  • ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER (Commercial TAX Officer). -TN Commercial Taxes Service
  • DISTRICT REGISTRAR. – Tamil Nadu Registration Service.
  • DISTRICT EMPLOYMENT OFFICER (DEO). – Tamil Nadu General Service.
  • DISTRICT OFFICER (FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE). – TN Fire and Rescue Service.

These were the postings given by TNPSC. Though the Selection Process is almost same the Qualification Criteria will differ for each Post. Some of these  Posts need Physical Standards too. So give more importance to the Notification released by the Recruiting Organisation. Selected Candidates will be allotted to any one of these jobs according to their preference and based on their marks. The selection Process is purely provisional and strictly based on the marks obtained by the Candidates in the Main Examination and also in the Oral Test. But this is not an easy task. Candidates should have deep knowledge in their preparations and also about the State. Each of the above said vacancies are different. Their work job, Managing Activities, Reporting Authorities, Designation etc.. will be different for each post. But the only similarity among them is they will be reporting to the Head of the District i.e. Indian Administrative Officer (IAS).

When the Salary is considered to these Top level Officers the Scale of Pay will be Rs.15600 – 39100/ with Grade Pay Rs.5400/(PB-3). These scale of pay is considered as per the 2016 Group 1 notification.

Now consider as example that Group 1 starting salary will be around 40-48k which is said to be the Gross salary (Basic pay +Dearness allowance) excluding allowances and deductions it may vary according to the post . Current dearness allowance is said to be 132 percent of basic pay as on date 31.12.2016. General deduction includes 10 percent of gross salary for contributory pension scheme. General allowances includes HRA , Medical allowance, City compensation allowance, other allowances which change according to the post.
