Why MS? : Master Of Science in Germany

Hello everyone. Tired of preparing for TNPSC, UPSC and GATE? Worried about the reservation system and the heavy competition? Want to learn more about technology and improve your skill? Dreaming of pursuing higher studies but worried because of financial situation? Or are you not sure where to look for the right information? Then this article is for you… Yes!! This is to help every middle class Indian struggling to pursue his dream of doing Masters.

We have very good institutions that teach undergraduate level engineering. India is producing the highest number of engineers every year. But the quality is not world class. We do not work much practically which is the core essence of engineering. The subjects we are studying are decades old theories. The world has emerged, technology has developed but the education system and syllabus is still the same.

Not even a single university or college in India is ranked among the Top 100 universities in the world as per the ranking of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2018. Our technical institutes such as IIT Delhi and two other institutes are in Top 200 list after 14 years, almost after one and half a decade. There are various reasons that determine the ranking of universities. And what we lag is research which is mainly because of fewer funds allocated.

Indian engineers are known for their skills and they are pillars of many of the companies all over the world. It is lack of fund and the quality of syllabus that is needed to take our knowledge a step ahead. This is the main reason why the ME graduates and BE graduates work in the same IT companies with the same starting salary irrespective of their major field of study.

Writing entrance examination like GATE and IES may yield admission into IIT, NIT and IISC. But again they are par below compared to other universities in the world when it comes to Post graduation. Another one drawback is, students studied in state board may struggle and need strong training because of difference in the syllabus. If you pass all these mile stone, finally you will have to face the so-called ‘RESERVATION SYSTEM’.

So instead of investing your money in post graduate studies here why not pursue MS or Masters abroad? We will explain you why masters will be appealing for you in the next article.
