CVRDE Avadi Recruitment 2024 40 Apprentice Posts : Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), a premier research establishment under the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Avadi, Chennai, has announced recruitment for 40 Apprentice Posts. This recruitment drive is specifically for eligible Graduate/Diploma holders in Engineering who have passed during the years 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023 and are hailing from Tamil Nadu. The apprenticeship training will be conducted for a duration of one year under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
A. Category – I Graduate Apprentices:–
• Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
• Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
• Under Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
B. Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:-
• Full time Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Govt in relevant discipline.
• Full time Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.
• A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognised by the State Govt or Central Govt as equivalent to above.
C. Category – III Non Engineering Graduates Apprentices (Arts / Science / Commerce) –
• Regular – Full time Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Humanities such as BA/ B.Sc., / B.Com/ BBA/ BCA etc., granted by a Statutory University / Deemed University in relevant discipline. – UGC approved
Stipend: The selected candidates will be eligible for a stipend as per the rules of the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.

g. Click apply
h. Click apply again.
For Students who have not so far enrolled in the Official National Web Portal
Step 1:
a. Go to https://nats.education.gov.in
b. Click Student
c. Click Student Register
d. Complete the application form
e. A unique Enrolment Number (ATN…) twelve digits for each student will be generated.
After completing the Enrollment
Step 2:
a. Login Search “COMBAT VEHICLES RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ESTABLISHMENT (CVRDE)
b.” under Apply against advertised vacancies
c. Click Apply Link (You have successfully applied for the vacancy)
Please Note: Percentage of marks in the Engineering Graduate / Diploma Engineering / Non Engineering Graduate Examination is mandatory. Hence Students are advised to compulsorily enter percentage of marks in the column “% of marks / CGPAx10” in the NATS portal. If % of marks is not furnished candidature will not be considered.
