Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must carefully review the eligibility criteria specified in the UPSC Training Officer 2024 notification before applying. Educational Qualification:

1. Assistant Director (Remote Sensing) –  M. Tech in Remote Sensing or Geomatics or Geoinformatics with B.Tech in any branch or with B.Sc. in physics or Mathematics or Geography or Agriculture from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable: One year’s experience in Remote Sensing and GIS Application in Agriculture.
2. Deputy Commissioner (NRM /RFS) –  Master’s Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture with Agronomy as a subject or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science or Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Botany or Master’s Degree in forestry or Botany or Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University or Institute
Experience: Ten years’ experience in the field of soil and water conservation or soil health management or rainfed or integrated farming and or soil survey or problem soil reclamation or project formulation including agro- forestry projects in Central or State Government departments or Union territory Administrations or recognized research institutions or agricultural universities or public sector undertakings or semi- Government or autonomous or statutory organizations.
3. Deputy Director (Medical) – A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the said act.
Experience: Five years’ professional experience including three years’ experience in occupational health in the Factories or ports or Mines or construction industry or Occupational Health Service Centres of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) or Employees’ State Insurance( ESI) Hospital/ Occupational Health Disease Centre.
4. Assistant Controller – Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution. OR
Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
Experience:
(I) In case of Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering-: Three Years experience in core Mining activity in:-
(a) Managerial position in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines which includes the period as graduate or management or junior trainee engineer or
(b) Government Department dealing with mines and minerals in level-7 in the pay matrix (Rs.44900-142400) or above OR
(II) In case of Master of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution
5. Training Officer (Women Training) – Interior Design and Decoration – (i) Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology from any recognized University or Institute approved by University Grant Commission or All India Council for Technical Education in Interior Design and Decoration; with two years post qualification experience in the relevant field of Teaching or Industry. OR
(ii) Diploma in Engineering or Technology from any recognized University or Institute approved by University Grant Commission or All India Council for Technical Education in Interior Design and Decoration; with five years post qualification experience in the relevant field of Teaching or Industry.
6. Training Officer (Women Training) – Office Management – (i) Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology from any recognized University or Institute approved by University Grant Commission or All India Council for Technical Education in Office Management or Secretarial Practice or Secretarial Services or Stenography (English); with two years post qualification experience in the relevant field of Teaching or Industry. OR (ii) Diploma in Engineering or Technology from any recognized University or Institute approved by University Grant Commission or All India Council for Technical Education in Office Management or Secretarial Practice or Secretarial Services or Stenography (English); with five years post qualification experience in the relevant field of Teaching or Industry.
7. Assistant Professor (Chemistry) – (A) (i) Master’s Degree with 55 percent marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Chemistry) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State level eligibility test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree (Chemistry) in accordance with the UGC (Minimum standards and procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET: Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11,2009 shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing ordinances/Bye- Laws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the Degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:-
a) Ph. D Degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode;
b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by atleast two external examiners;
c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted;
d) The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in a refereed journal;
e) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D work in conference/seminars, sponsored /funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency. The fulfillment of the conditions (a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned.
OR
(B) Ph.D. Degree in Chemistry from a Foreign University/Institution.
8. Assistant Professor (English) – (A) (i) Master’s Degree with 55 percent marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in English from a recognized University/ Institute.

Assistant Professor (Physics) – (A) (i) Master’s Degree with 55 percent marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Physics from a recognized University/ Institute. 11. Assistant Professor (Hindi) –  (i) Master’s Degree in Hindi with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
(ii) M.Ed. Degree With at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
(iii) Qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Education conducted by the UGC or the State Level Eligibility test in Education (SET/ SLET) accredited by the UGC.
12. Senior Research Officer (Language Medium) – Master’s Degree from a recognised University in Linguistics; or Master’s Degree from a recognised University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at degree level: or Master’s Degree from a recognised University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at degree level; or Master’s Degree from a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at degree level; or Master’s Degree from a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at degree level; or Master’s Degree from a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.
Experience: Five years’ experience of using or applying terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa, of texts of academic and technical content, in different disciplines of humanities, social sciences, science and technology including experience of handling examination work under Central Government or State Government or Union territories or autonomous bodies or statutory organizations or public sector undertakings or Universities or recognised research or educational Institutions.

1. Assistant Director (Remote Sensing) – 35 years for UR.
2. Deputy Commissioner (NRM /RFS) – 50 years for URs.
3. Deputy Director (Medical) – 50 years for PwBDs.
4. Assistant Controller – 35 years for URs and 45 years for PwBDs.
5. Training Officer (Women Training) – Interior Design and Decoration – 30 years for URs.
6. Training Officer (Women Training) – Office Management – 30 years for URs and 35 for SCs
7. Assistant Professor (Chemistry) – 35 years for URs.
8. Assistant Professor (English) – 40 years for STs.
