Gujarat HC Steno Grade 2 Exam Pattern
Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2016 has released to fill 234 posts of English and Gujarati Stenographer posts available in subordinate courts. Authorities have mentioned different selection process for stenographer Grade-1 and 2. For English/Gujarati Stenographer Grade-1 Stenography/Skill Test and Viva Voice Test will be organized as a part of selection process. Written exam and stenography/skill test will be held as a part of selection process for Stenographer Grade-2. Scheme of Examination for Stenographer Grade-1
- As the first stage of selection process stenography Test has planning to organize tentatively on 19th November 2016
- Stenography Test will be held for total 60 Marks
- Candidate shall have to write the Dictation in Shorthand Notations ONLY.
- The Candidate securing minimum 50% Marks in the Stenography Test, shall only be eligible for being called for Viva-Voce Test (Oral Interview).
- In case, large number of Candidates qualify in the Stenography Test, it will be open for the High Court to restrict the number of Candidates as deemed necessary, according to Merit.
Scheme of Examination for Stenographer Grade-2
- Written exam will be organize tentatively on 20th November 2016
- Written test will be held in objective type for 40 marks and the time allotted for this exam is 1 hour
- Subjects included are General Knowledge, General English, Gujarati, current affairs, numerical and mental ability, Computer fundamentals and operations etc.
- Candidates who will score minimum 50% of marks in this written exam will only called for further rounds of selection process
