Crypto–Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) எனப்பெயரிடப்பட்ட கட்டமைப்பானது, கிரிப்டோ சொத்துகளின் எல்லை தாண்டிய பரிமாற்றத்தைக் கண்காணிக்க நாடுகளால் பயன்படுத்தப்படும். இந்த வாரம் வாஷிங்டன் DCஇல் வைத்து G20 நிதியமைச்சர்களுக்கு CARF வழங்கப்படும்.

• 2023ஆம் ஆண்டில் ஷாங்காய் ஒத்துழைப்பு அமைப்பில் (SCO) நிரந்தர உறுப்பினராவதற்கான ஒரு முறையான புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் ஈரான் கையெழுத்திட்டுள்ளது. SCO உச்சிமாநாட்டில் கலந்துகொள்வதன்மூலம் இருபது ஆண்டுகளில் உசுபெகிஸ்தானுக்கு வருகைதரும் முதல் ஈரானிய அதிபராக இப்ராகிம் ரைசி ஆனார். 2005 ஜூனில் ஈரான் SCO அமைப்பில் பார்வையாளர் அந்தஸ்தைப்பெற்றது. 15 ஆண்டு காத்திருப்புக்குப்பிறகு 2021 செப்டம்பரில் அதன் முழுநேர உறுப்பினருக்கான முன்மொழிவு அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டது.

• The International Monetary Fund, in its latest World Economic Outlook report, cut the forecast for India’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth in financial year 2022–23 (FY23) by to 6.8 per cent. IMF flagged global inflation crisis and gave a warning of a long and tough economic winter. This is a 0.6 percentage downgrade since July forecast, when IMF cut India’s growth forecast to 7.4 per cent.

• Justice Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud is set to take over as the 50th Chief Justice of India (CJI) after the present Chief Justice UU Lalit formally recommended him as his successor. As per the procedure, the senior most judge Supreme Court judge serves as the Chief Justice of India and the government seeks a recommendation from the CJI to name their successor. Justice DY Chandrachud was part of benches that decriminalised homosexuality, decriminalised adultery, and allowed women in the Sabrimala shrine.

• The Organisation for Economic Co–operation and Development (OECD) has created a new global tax transparency framework for automatic exchange of information related to crypto assets between countries. The framework named Crypto–Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) will be used by the countries to track the cross–border transfer of crypto assets. CARF will be presented to G20 Finance Ministers this week in Washington DC.

• Iran signed a formal MoU to become a permanent member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in 2023. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi became the first Iranian president in 20 years to visit Uzbekistan, by attending the SCO Summit. Iran acquired observer status in the organisation in June 2005. Its bid for full membership was approved in September 2021 after a wait of 15 years.
