• VINCOV–19, India’s first antidote and a projected cure against SARS–CoV–2 virus is now ready for market authorisation and simultaneous phase–3 clinical trials. The drug, a joint effort of the University of Hyderabad (UoH), the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) and immunological company VINS Bioproducts Limited, recently passed the phase–2 trials. It was conducted in over 200 participants across multiple centres in India.
