• இந்திய வான்படையும் ஜப்பானிய வான் தற்காப்புப்படையும் தங்களது முதல் இருதரப்பு விமானப்பயிற்சியான வீர் கார்டியன்–2023ஐ நடத்தவுள்ளன. இந்தப் பயிற்சி ஜப்பானில் 2023 ஜனவரியில் ஹைகுரி மற்றும் இருமா விமானப் படைத்தளத்தில் நடைபெறும். பரஸ்பர புரிதலை மேம்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் விமானப்படைகளுக்கு இடையே பாதுகாப்பு ஒத்துழைப்பை வலுப்படுத்துதல் ஆகியவை இந்தப் பயிற்சியின் நோக்கமாகும்.

• பெரும்பாலான கர்ப்பப்பை வாய்ப்புற்றுநோய்கள் மனித பாப்பிலோமா தீநுண்மத்துடன் (HPV) தொடர்புடையவை ஆகும். சிறுமிகள் அல்லது இளம்பெண்கள் இந்நோய்த்தாக்குதலுக்கு ஆளாகும்முன் தடுப்பூசி செலுத்திக் கொண்டால் இதன் தாக்கத்திலிருந்து தற்காத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். நோய்த்தடுப்புக்கான தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப ஆலோசனைக் குழு 9–14 வயதுடைய இளம்பெண்களுக்கு உலகளாவிய நோய்த்தடுப்புத் திட்டத்தில் HPV தடுப்பூசியை அறிமுகப்படுத்த பரிந்துரைத்துள்ளது. கர்ப்பப்பை வாய்ப்புற்றுநோயைத் தடுப்பது மற்றும் HPV தடுப்பூசியின் முக்கியத்துவம் குறித்து விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துமாறு அனைத்து மாநிலங்களுக்கும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களுக்கும் நடுவண் அரசு கடிதம் எழுதியுள்ளது.

• இந்திய தேசிய பங்குச்சந்தையானது (NSE) சமூகப் பங்குச் சந்தையை (SSE) அதன் தனிப்பிரிவாக அமைக்க இந்திய பங்குகள் மற்றும் பரிவர்த்தனை வாரியத்தின் (SEBI) கொள்கை ரீதியான ஒப்புதலைப் பெற்றுள்ளது. நடுவண் நிதி அமைச்சர் நிர்மலா சீதாராமன், 2019–20ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான மத்திய வரவுசெலவுத்திட்ட உரையில், SEBIஇன் ஒழுங்குமுறை வரம்பின்கீழ், சமூகப் பங்குச்சந்தையை உருவாக்கலாம் என முன்மொழிந்தார்.

விடை: ஆ. வணிகம் செய்வதை எளிதாக்கல்

• வணிகம் மற்றும் தொழிற்துறை அமைச்சர் பியூஷ் கோயல் மக்களவையில், ‘ஜன விஸ்வாஸ்’ மசோதாவைத் தாக்கல் செய்தார். இது வணிகம் செய்வதை எளிதாக்கும் நோக்கத்தைக் கொண்டதாகும். 42 சட்டங்களில் 183 விதிகளை திருத்துவதன்மூலம் சிறு குற்றங்களை குற்றமற்றதாக்க இந்த மசோதா எண்ணுகிறது. இம்மசோதா பின்னர் 31 பேர் கொண்ட நாடாளுமன்ற கூட்டுக்குழுவின் ஆய்வுக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டது. நீதித்துறையின் சுமையைக் குறைப்பதற்கும் இந்த மசோதா உதவும்.

• 16 வயதுடைய ஆதித்யா மிட்டல் சமீபத்தில் இந்தியாவின் 77ஆவது செஸ் கிராண்ட்மாஸ்டர் ஆனார். ஸ்பெயினில் நடைபெற்று வரும் எல்லோபிரேகாட் ஓபன் போட்டியின் ஆறாவது சுற்றில் மும்பையைச் சேர்ந்த அவ்வீரர் 2,500 ELO புள்ளிகளைக் கடந்தார். பரத் சுப்ரமணியம், இராகுல் ஸ்ரீவத்சவ், வி பிரணவ் மற்றும் பிரணவ் ஆனந்த் ஆகியோருக்குப் பிறகு நடப்பு 2022ஆம் ஆண்டில் கிராண்ட்மாஸ்டர் பட்டத்தைப் பெறும் ஐந்தாவது இந்தியரானார் ஆதித்யா மிட்டல்.

• உணவு மற்றும் உழவு அமைப்பானது (FAO) 2022 டிசம்பர்.05ஆம் தேதியன்று உலக மண் நாளை முன்னிட்டு “Global status of Black Soils” என்ற ஓர் அறிக்கையை வெளியிட்டது. இந்த அறிக்கையின்படி, உலக மக்களுக்கு உணவளிக்கும் கரிசல் மண் அச்சுறுத்தலுக்கு ஆளாகியுள்ளது. பெரும்பாலான கரிசல் மண் பரப்புகள் தங்களது இயல்பான கரிம இருப்புகளில் பாதியையாவது இழந்துள்ளன. FAOஇன் கருத்துப்படி, நிலப் பயன்பாட்டு மாற்றம், நீடிக்க முடியாத மேலாண்மை நடைமுறைகள் மற்றும் இரசாயனங்களின் அதிகப்படியான பயன்பாடு ஆகியவை இதற்குக் காரணங்கள் ஆகும்.

• ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் அவையின் உணவு மற்றும் உழவு அமைப்பு (FAO) இத்தாலியின் ரோமில் சர்வதேச தினை ஆண்டு –2023 (IYM2023) இன் தொடக்க விழாவை ஏற்பாடு செய்தது. தொடக்க விழாவில், நடுவண் வேளாண்மை மற்றும் விவசாயிகள் நலத்துறை இணையமைச்சர் சுஸ்ரீ ஷோபா கரந்த்லாஜே தலைமையிலான இந்தியக் குழுவும் பிற மூத்த அதிகாரிகளும் கலந்துகொண்டனர். “தினைகுறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு – Millet Mindfulness” என்பதை உருவாக்கி விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துவது இந்த இயக்கத்தின் ஒரு முக்கிய பகுதியாகும்.

• டாடா குழுமத்தின் தலைவரான N சந்திரசேகரன் B20 இந்தியாவின் தலைவராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். G20இன் தலைமைப்பொறுப்பில் இந்தியாவுள்ள இவ்வேளையில், வணிக நிகழ்ச்சி நிரலை அவர் வழிநடத்தினார். B20 இந்தியா செயல்முறைக்கு தலைமைதாங்குவதற்காக நடுவண் அரசால் B20 இந்திய செயலகமாக இந்திய தொழிற் துறை கூட்டமைப்பு (CII) நியமனம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• எண்ணெய் சுத்திகரிப்பு மற்றும் சந்தைப்படுத்தல் நிறுவனமான BPCLஇன் முன்னாள் தலைவர் அருண் குமார் சிங், ONGCஇன் தலைவர் மற்றும் நிர்வாக இயக்குநராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். அவர் பொறுப்பேற்ற தேதியில் இருந்து மூன்றாண்டு காலத்திற்கு அந்த நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவராக பதவி வகிப்பார். அவர் BPCL தலைவராக 13 மாதங்கள் பதவியிலிருந்த பிறகு 2022 அக்டோபரில் ஓய்வுபெற்றார்.

• Indian Air Force (IAF) and Japanese Air Self Defence Force (JASDF) are set to hold their maiden bilateral air exercise, Veer Guardian 23. The exercise will be held at Hyakuri air base and Iruma air base in Japan in January 2023. It aims to promote mutual understanding and strengthen defence cooperation between the Air Forces.

• Most cervical cancers are associated with the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). The HPV vaccine can prevent most cases of if the vaccine is given before girls or women are exposed to the virus. National Technical Advisory Group   for Immunization (NTAGI) has recommended introduction of HPV Vaccine in the Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) with for 9–14–year–old adolescent girls. The Centre has written to all States and UTs to create awareness on prevention of cervical cancer and the importance of HPV vaccine.

• National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has received in–principle approval from the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to set up a Social Stock Exchange (SSE) as a separate segment of the NSE. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in her Union Budget speech of 2019–20, proposed the creation of a Social Stock Exchange, under the regulatory ambit of SEBI, for listing social enterprises and voluntary organisations.

• Commerce and industry Minister Piyush Goyal in Lok Sabha introduced Jan Vishwas Bill, which seeks to promote ease of business. The bill seeks to decriminalise minor offences by amending 183 provisions in 42 Acts. The Bill was later referred to a 31–member joint committee of Parliament for scrutiny. The bill will also help in reducing the burden on judiciary.

The Mumbai–based player crossed 2,500 ELO points mark during the sixth round of the ongoing Ellobregat Open tournament in Spain. Mittal is also the fifth Indian to achieve the GM title in 2022 after Bharath Subramaniyam, Rahul Srivatshav, V Pranav and Pranav Anand.

• The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) released the ‘Global status of black soils’ Report on the occasion of World Soil Day, December 5, 2022. As per the report, Black soils, which feed the global population, are under threat, with most losing at least half of their soil organic carbon (SOC) stocks. As per the FAO, the reasons are Land–use change, unsustainable management practices and excessive use of agrochemicals.

Raising awareness to create ‘Millet Mindfulness’ is an important part of this movement.
