• இந்திய ரிசர்வ் வங்கியானது (RBI) மொத்த விற்பனைப் பிரிவினருக்காக, நடுவண் வங்கி ஆதரவுடைய ‘எண்ம ரூபாய்’க்கான முன்னோடித் திட்டத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. ‘நடுவண் வங்கியின் எண்ம நாணயத்தின் செயல்பாடு–மொத்த விற்பனை (இ `–W) சோதனைமுறை’ என்ற அறிவிப்பில் RBI இதனை அறிவித்துள்ளது. பாரதி வங்கி, பரோடா வங்கி, இந்திய யூனியன் வங்கி, HDFC வங்கி, ICICI வங்கி, கோடக் மஹிந்திரா வங்கி, YES வங்கி, IDFC ஃபர்ஸ்ட் பேங்க் மற்றும் HSBC ஆகிய ஒன்பது வங்கிகள் இதற்காக தேர்வுசெய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன.

• ஹார்வர்ட் பல்கலைக்கழக வானியல் இயற்பியலாளர்களின் புதிய ஆராய்ச்சியின்படி, முதல் மற்றும் இரண்டாவது விண்மீனிடை விண்கற்களான IM1 மற்றும் IM2 ஆகிய இரண்டும் பொருண்ம வலிமையில் வெளிப்புறமாக உள்ளன. மேலும் இவை சூப்பர்நோவா வெடிப்புகளினால் தோன்றியிருக்கலாம். IM1 was detected by U.S. government sensors in 2014, identified as interstellar object candidate in 2019, and was confirmed in 2022. The second interstellar meteor, IM2 was identified in data from the NASA’s Center for NEO Studies (CNEOS) fireball catalog.
