• ஆக்ராவில் உள்ள வான்படை தளத்தில் மனிதாபிமான உதவி மற்றும் பேரிடர் நிவாரணத்திற்கு வருடாந்திர கூட்டுப் பயிற்சியான ‘சமன்வை–2022’ நவ.28–30 வரை நடைபெறவுள்ளது. இது நிறுவனம் சார்ந்த பேரிடர் மேலாண்மை கட்டடைமப்புகளின் திறன் மற்றும் அவசரகால நடவடிக்கைகள்பற்றி மதிப்பீடு செய்வதை நோக்கமாகக்கொண்டது. மேலும், பேரிடர் மேலாண்மைகுறித்த கருத்தரங்கும் வான்படை விமானங்களின் காட்சி விளக்கங்களும் இதில் இடம்பெறும். இந்தப் பயிற்சியின்போது ஆசியான் நாடுகளின் பிரதிநிதிகளும் பங்கேற்பார்கள்.

• நடுவண் ஊரக வளர்ச்சி அமைச்சகமானது ‘நை சேத்னா’ என்ற பெயரில் ஒருமாதகாலம் நீளும் பரப்புரைத் திட்டத்தை மக்கள் பங்கேற்பு இயக்கமாகத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது. குறிப்பாக கிராமப்புறங்களில் உள்ள பெண்களுக்கு அவர்களின் உரிமைகள் மற்றும் அவர்களின் குறைகளை நிவர்த்தி செய்ய உதவும் வழிமுறைகள் குறித்து விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காக நடுவண் ஊரக வளர்ச்சி அமைச்சகத்தால் இந்தத் திட்டம் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 2022 நவ.25 அன்று பெண்களுக்கெதிரான வன்முறைகளை ஒழிப்பதற்கான சர்வதேச நாளின்போது இந்தத் திட்டம் தொடங்கப்பட்டது.

• இந்திய கலாசார உறவுகள் கவுன்சில் மற்றும் கோவா மாநில அரசாங்கத்துடன் இணைந்து வெளியுறவு அமைச்சகம் ‘சர்வதேச போர்த்துகீசிய மொழி பேசுவோர் (லூசோபோன்) திருவிழா’வை நடத்துகிறது. லூசோபோன்கள் என்பது போர்த்துகீசிய மொழியை பூர்வீகமாகவோ அல்லது இரண்டாம் மொழியாகவோ பேசும் மக்களைக் குறிக்கின்றது. இவ்விழாவின் ஒருபகுதியாக, லூசோபோன் இசை குறித்த பயிலரங்கங்கள், கோவா கட்டடக்கலை கண்காட்சிகள், கோவா கைவினைப்பொருட்கள் மற்றும் கோவா மரச்சாமான்கள், உணவு மற்றும் பானங்கள் திருவிழா ஆகியவை ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்படுகின்றன.

The species has been named Pseudohelice annamalai in recognition of Annamalai University’s 100 years of service in education and research. This is the first ever record of this genus, Pseudohelice, collected from high intertidal areas. Pseudohelice annamalai is distinguished by dark purple to dark grey colouring.
