ஆசிரியர் தகுதித்தேர்வு (TET) சான்றிதழ் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் செல்லும் என்று மத்திய கல்வி அமைச்சகம் அறிவிப்பு வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. இலவச கட்டாயக்கல்வி உரிமைச்சட்டப்படி அனைத்து வகை பள்ளிகளிலும் ஆசிரி -யராகப் பணியில் சேர மத்திய அரசு, மாநில அரசுகள் நடத்தும் ஆசிரியர் தகுதித்தேர்வில் தேர்ச்சி பெறவேண்டும். அதன்படி நடத்தப்படும் ஆசிரியர் தகுதித்தேர்வு மொத்தம் 2 தாள்களைக் கொண்டது. முதல் தாளில் தேர்ச்சி பெறுபவர்கள் இடைநிலை ஆசிரியராகவும், இரண்டாம் தாளில் தேர்ச்சி அடைபவர்கள் பட்டதாரி ஆசிரியராகவும் பணிபுரியலாம்.

இதற்கிடையே டெட் தேர்வில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றவர்களின் சான்றிதழ்கள் 7 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மட்டுமே செல்லுபடியாகும் என்ற நிலை இருந்தது. அந்நிலையை மாற்றித் தற்போது ஆயுள் முழுவதும் டெட் சான்றிதழ் செல்லும் என்று மத்திய கல்வி அமைச்சகம் அறிவித்துள்ளது. இந்த அறிவிப்பு 2011’இலிருந்து தேர்வு எழுதியவர்களுக்கும் பொருந்தும் என்றும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
