Eligibility Criteria: Candidates interested in applying for the AIC Management Trainee (MT) positions must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Management Trainees (Rural Management) –
• Graduation in Agriculture Marketing/ Agriculture Marketing & Cooperation/ Agriculture Business Management/ Rural Management with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST – 55%) in aggregate from University / Institution recognized by the Govt. of India/Govt. Bodies/AICTE OR
• Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST – 55%) in aggregate from University / Institution recognized by the Govt. of India/Govt. Bodies/AICTE with 2 years full time Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in any of the following (with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST – 55%) in aggregate from University / Institution recognized by the Govt. of India/Govt. Bodies/AICTE):
– MBA- Rural Management/Agriculture Marketing/ Agri Business Management/ Agri-Business and Rural Development
– Post Graduate Diploma- Rural Management/ Agri Business Management (PGDM- ABM)/ Agriculture Marketing
– Post Graduate Degree- Agriculture Marketing/ Agri Business Management/ Rural Management
Age Limit (As on 01.06.2023) : Management Trainees (Rural Management) – Minimum Age: 21 years & Maximum Age: 30 years i.e., a candidate must have been born not earlier than 2 nd June 1993 and not later than 1st June 2002 (both dates inclusive). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
Salary and Pay Scale: The selected candidates would be paid a consolidated pay of Rs. 60,000/- p.m. for the one year of training. Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will be appointed as Assistant Manager in the basic pay scale of Rs. 32,795/- to Rs. 62,315/-. Additionally, they will be entitled to other allowances and benefits as per company rules.
Selection Process: The selection process for AIC Management Trainee (MT) recruitment consists of two stages:
Online Examination: Candidates will be required to appear for an online examination, which will assess their knowledge and aptitude in various subjects including Agriculture, English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the online examination will be called for a personal interview. The final selection will be based on the performance in the interview.
