Eligibility Criteria: Before applying for the JRF and Technical Assistant positions, candidates must ensure that they meet the specified eligibility criteria set by Anna University. The university has outlined the following requirements:
JRF – M.E./M.Tech. in Internal Combustion Engineering / Thermal Engineering / Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering/Automobile Engineering/other Thermal engineering disciplines
Desirable Qualification: PhD or must have aspiration to join PhD.
Technical Assistant – B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/Mechatronics/Material Science and Engineering.
Desirable Skills: The candidates must possess:
1) Strong academic knowledge.
2) Good communication and research article writing skills.
3) Experience in working with IC engines/ Electric vehicles/ Hybrid vehicles/ Fuel cells.
Selection Process: The selection process for the JRF and Technical Assistant positions will include a thorough assessment of the candidates’ academic qualifications, relevant experience, and performance in the interview. | GATE/NET qualified candidates will be given preference and considered for JRF. If suitable candidates are not found in GATE/NET category, Non GATE/Non NET candidate will be considered for suitable post and salary will be fixed accordingly as per the norms of Anna University. |
