Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for the ASC Centre (South) Recruitment 2023 are as follows:

Age Limit: The applicant should be between 18 to 25 years of age. Age relaxation will be applicable for the reserved category candidates as per government norms.

Educational Qualification: The educational qualification for each post is different. The candidates should possess the required educational qualification for the respective post they are applying for.

Cook – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board. Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and Proficiency in trade. Desirable to have one year experience in trade.

Civilian Catering Instructor – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board. Diploma or Certificate in catering from any recognised institution. Desirable to have one year working experience in catering as instructor.

LDC – 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. English Typing @35 w.p.m on computer.

Tradesman Mate (Labour) – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised Institution. Should be proficient in trade.

Tin Smith –  Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board. Should be proficient in trade work.

Barber – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board. Should be proficient in trade work. Conversant with duties of respective trade with one year experience.

MTS (Chowkidar) – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board. Should be proficient in trade work

Civilian Motor Driver – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised Institution. Must possess valid driving licence for both heavy and light motor vehicles. Should have at least two years experience in driving motor vehicles.

Cleaner – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board.  Should be proficient in trade work.

Vehicle Mechanic – 10th Standard pass from a recognised Board. Capable of reading number and names of tools and vehicles both in English and Hindi. One year experience of his trade.

Painter – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board. Should have knowledge of Painting.

Carpenter – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board. Should have the knowledge of Carpentry.

Fireman – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board. Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire appliances and equipments fire engines, trailer, pumps, foam branches. Must be familiar with the use and maintenance of first-aid fire fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pump. Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods employed in fighting different types of fire. Must be conversant with foot and appliance Fire Service Drills and be able to perform the task allotted to the members of fire crew.

Fire Engine Driver – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board. Should be proficient in trade work. Must have at least three years experience of driving heavy vehicles and be in possession of valid driving licence.

Salary: The selected candidates will get a salary as per the 7th Pay Commission. The salary for each post is different. The details of the salary for each post will be available in the official notification.

Selection Process: The selection process for the ASC Centre (South) Recruitment 2023 includes the following:

Written Test: The candidates will have to appear for a written test.

Physical Test: The candidates who qualify in the written test will have to appear for a physical test.

Skill Test: The candidates who qualify in the physical test will have to appear for a skill test.

Document Verification: The candidates who qualify in all the above tests will be called for document verification.
