Eligibility Criteria: Before applying for the ASRB NET 2023, SMS & STO Recruitment 2023, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria set by the ASRB. The eligibility criteria for each post are as follows:
National Eligibility Test (NET)- 2023: Candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).
Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) (T-6): Candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates) and Ph.D. in the relevant field.
Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T-6): Candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates) and Ph.D. in the relevant field with 3 years of experience.
Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2023)
1. National Eligibility Test (Net) – A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 01.01.2023. There is no upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test.
2. Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) (T-6) – A candidate seeking admission to the SMS (T-6) Examination must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 35 years as on 10.04.2023. There will be no age-limit for the employees of ICAR.
3. Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T-6) – A candidate seeking admission to the STO (T-6) Examination must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 35 years as on10.04.2023. There will be no age-limit for the employees of ICAR.
Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Government Rules
Salary: The selected candidates for the ASRB NET 2023, SMS & STO Recruitment 2023 will receive a handsome salary package as per the 7th Pay Commission. The salary details for each post are as follows:
National Eligibility Test (NET)- 2023: Rs.57,700 – Rs.1,82,400/-
Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) (T-6): Rs.67,700 – Rs.2,08,700/-
Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T-6): Rs.78,800 – Rs.2,09,200/-
Selection Process: The selection process for the ASRB NET 2023, SMS & STO Recruitment 2023 will be based on a written examination followed by an interview. The written examination will consist of objective-type questions and will be conducted online. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, which will be conducted in person or online, depending on the prevailing situation.
