Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023 161 Technical and Tradesman Posts : The Assam Rifles, one of India’s oldest paramilitary forces, has announced the Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Recruitment for the year 2023. This recruitment drive aims to fill 161 Group B and C vacancies for various technical and tradesman positions. The Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally for the year 2024 is tentatively scheduled to begin on 18th December 2023 and will continue onwards, seeking to enroll eligible male and female candidates who aspire to serve their nation.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates interested in applying for the Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023 must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Trade – Personal Assistant – (Both Male & Female candidates), Initial Rank – Warrant Officer – Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board or University or equivalent. Skill Test Norms on Computer:- (i) Dictation. 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. (ii) Transcription Time. 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer |
| 2. Trade – Religious Teacher – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank – Naib Subedar – Graduation with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi |
| 3. Trade – Lineman Field – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank – Rifleman – 10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Electrician trade from a recognised Institute. |
| 4. Trade – Recovery Vehicle Mechanic – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank – Rifleman, – 10th class pass and Industrial Training Institute (III) certificate in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic or Recovery Vehicle Operator from a recognized Board or University |
| 5. Trade – Bridge & Road – (Both Male & Female candidates), Initial Rank – Naib Subedar, – Matric or equivalent from a recognised Board or University. Diploma in civil engineering from a recognised institution for Bridge and Road |

| 8. Trade – Plumber – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank — Rifleman, – 10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Plumber trade from a recognised Institute. |
| 9. Trade – Surveyor ITI – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank – Havildar, – 10th class pass from a recognised Board and Industrial Training Institute certificate in Surveyor trade from a recognised Institute. |
| 10. Trade – X-Ray Assistant – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank – Havildar, – 10+2 pass with diploma in Radiology from a recognised Board or University. |
Age Limit:
For Group B posts: 20 to 25 years
For Group C posts: 18 to 23 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
Salary: The salary for the Group B and C posts in Assam Rifles will be in accordance with the Pay Band and Grade Pay as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
Selection Process: Assam Rifles may follow the following process to select the candidates.
Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Trade Test (Skill Test)
Written Test
Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME)

Application Fee: Fee structure and other details are as follows:
- Fee Structure. For Group B posts (i.e Religious Teacher and Bridge & Road posts only) application fee is Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) and for Group C posts (i.e except Religious Teacher and Bridge & Road posts) application fee is Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
- The fee will be deposited online by the candidates into SBI Current Account No. 37088046712 in favour of HQ DGAR, Recruitment Branch, Shillong-10 at SBI Laitkor Branch IFSC Code – SBIN0013883.
- NO Fee is charged from candidates belonging to Schedule Casts, Scheduled Tribes, Female and Ex-servicemen candidates. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other expenses.
