- Candidates who are already working as Project Engineers/ Trainee Engineers in one of the Units of BEL are not eligible to apply to the lateral posts. However, candidates who are working as Trainee Engineers and are fulfilling the eligibility/ criteria as per the advertisement can apply for the post of Project Engineer – I. Trainee Engineers who have completed the overall tenure of 3 years in BEL and get selected for the post of Project Engineer will directly inducted as Project Engineer- II॰. Project Engineers who are presently working in BEL will not be eligible to apply for the post of Project Engineer. If applied, the application will be summarily rejected without assigning any reasons

Selection Process For Trainee Engineer Posts-BEL
The selection process of BEL Trainee Engineer Recruitment 2022 includes the following stages given here.
Written Test – 85% weightage
Interview – 15% weightage
Candidate should meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the advertisement. Selection will be through a Written Test followed by interview (of those who are shortlisted in the written test). 85% Marks will be allotted for the written test and 15% Marks for the interview. Candidates who pass the written test will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit, category and discipline.
