Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for BEL Recruitment 2023 are as follows:
Trainee Engineer-I For NS (S&CS) – 4 years full time BE / B.Tech/B.Sc Engg in the disciplines of Electronics/ Mechanical/ Information Science /Information Technology/ Computer Science
Post Qualification Experience As On 01.05.2023: Minimum 6 months of experience in software development activities.
Trainee Engineer-I For NS (R&FCS) – 4 years full time BE / B.Tech/B.Sc Engg in the disciplines of Electronics / E&C/E&T/Communication/ Telecommunication
Post Qualification Experience As On 01.05.2023: 0-6 months of industrial experience.
Age Limit (As on 01.05.2023): The upper age limit for the candidate is 28 years as of 1st May 2023. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
Salary: Trainee Engineer – I will be engaged for an initial period of 2 years, which may be extended up to maximum of One year (Maximum tenure of 3 years) based on project requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 35,000/- for 2nd year and in the event of extension of contract Rs. 40,000/- for the 3rd year. In addition to the remuneration indicated above, a consolidated amount of Rs. 12,000/- per year will be paid towards reimbursement of expenses like medical insurance premium, life insurance premium, uniforms, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.
Selection Process: The selection process for BEL Recruitment 2023 includes the following stages:
Written Test: The candidates will have to appear for a written test which will consist of multiple-choice questions related to their respective fields. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria specified in the advertisement, will be called for a Written Test which will be for 85 marks.
Interview: The candidates who qualify for the written test will be called for an interview. The interview will assess the candidate’s technical and general knowledge, communication skills, and personality.Candidates who pass the written test will be called for Interview (Category- wise) based on the vacancies, in the ratio of 1:5. 15 marks will be allotted for Interview.
