Educational Qualification For BHEL Recruitment 2022
Project Engineer : Full-Time BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics discipline with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all the years/semesters from recognized University/ Institution.
Project Supervisor : Full-Time Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation discipline with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all the years/semesters from recognized University/ Institution.
Experience Requirements For Project Engineer
Position Code FTA-1 Electrical/Electronics : Minimum one year experience in Installation , Commissioning , AMC for any of the following :
a) Propulsion system of Indian Railways
b) AC EMU or NON AC ACEMU
c) MEMU
d) Metro
e) Work experience in Indian Railways for above work or any Coach related work.
Position Code FTA-2 Mechanical : Minimum one year experience in Installation , Commissioning , AMC for any of the following :
a) Propulsion system of Indian Railways
b) AC EMU or NON AC ACEMU
c) MEMU
d) Metro
e) Work experience in Indian Railways for above work or any Coach related work.
Position Code FTA-3 Electrical / Electronics : Minimum of One year experience in any electronic Industry to get involved in Design / Development and additional experience in software programming in MATLAB/ FPGA/ DSP/ Micro controllers are preferred.
Age Limit For BHEL Recruitment 2022
- Candidates should be below 32 years of age as of 01-Nov-2022.
- No candidate will be considered beyond the age of 32 years as of 1st November 2022 for the appointment of Project Engineer, and Project Supervisor posts.
Application Fee For BHEL Project Engineer
- A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200/- is payable by the General, OBC and EWSs candidates.
- However, SC/ST candidates and Persons with Disability are exempted from paying the processing fee.
Selection Process For BHEL Recruitment 2022

If the number of eligible applicants for a post is in the ratio of up to 1:10 to the number of vacancies, Personal Interviews shall be conducted for all the eligible candidates. However, if the number of eligible applicants for a post is in excess of the ratio of 1:10 to the number of vacancies, the number of candidates will be restricted to Personal Interviews on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the Qualifying examination [Degree/ Diploma].
