About Birbhum

Birbhum district is an administrative part of the Indian state West Bengal. It is the northernmost district of Burdwan district is one of the three administrative districts of the state West Bengal. It has its district headquarters is in Suri. According to the reports, Birbhum district had a literacy rate of 70.09%. The government of the state releases the various employment notifications to recruit the skilled candidates for various government sectors. The District Level Selection Committee (DLSC) Birbhum is responsible for advertising the notifications, conducting the exam and hiring process. The Advertisement No. 01/DLSCBIRBHUM/2016 says that, there is wide opportunities for Job seekers in WB.

Eligibilities

The applicant must possess SSC/HSC/Graduation/Post Graduation/B.Ed/B.E with relevant experience and from recognised board. The age criteria will varies according to each post. The approximate age limit will be minimum of 18 years and maximum of 45 years, whereas age relaxation are also applicable as per norms.

Selection Process

The selection process will be two rounds such as written exam and viva vice. For some posts, they will also conduct computer skill test. The selected and qualifying candidates will get salary package as follows

  • Gram Panchayat Karmee – Pay band is Rs. 4900/- to Rs. 16200/- with grade pay of Rs. 1700/-
  • For Secretary, Sahayak, Samiti Education Officer, Accounts Clerk, Clerk-cum-typist and Data Entry OperatorRs. 5400/- to Rs. 25200/- with grade pay of Rs. 2600/-
  • For Executive Assistant, Block Informatics Officer, Samiti Education OfficerRs.7100/- to Rs. 37600/- with grade pay of Rs. 3600/-
  • For Nirman SahayakRs. 9000/- to Rs. 40500/- with grade pay of Rs. 4400/-

Go to official link by giving the URL address as below, In home page search for desired jobs which you want to apply, Now fill all the details without any errors and submit the form by making payment if applicable as per notification. Once finished, check for any acknowledgement such as ACK number, Application registration number, etc which will generate.
