Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who are interested in applying for the BSF Group B & C Recruitment 2023 must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying. The eligibility criteria include the following:

HC (Master) – Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and  Serang Certificate

HC (Engine Driver) – Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and  Possessing 2nd class Engine Driver certificate.

HC (Workshop) Mechanic (Diesel/ Petrol Engine) – Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and  ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine) for HC (Workshop) – Mechanic (Diesel/ Petrol Engine) from a recognized Institution

HC (Workshop Machinist) – Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and  ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Diploma in Machinist for HC (Workshop)-Machinist from a recognized Institution.

Constable (Crew) – Matriculation from a recognized Board equivalent and  One year experience in operation of Boat below 265 HP. Should know swimming in deep water without any assistance.

Age Limit: The age limit for the above-mentioned posts varies between 20 to 28 years. However, there is age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

Selection Process: The selection process for the BSF Group B & C Recruitment 2023 consists of the following stages:

Written Exam: The first stage of the selection process is the written exam, which is conducted to test the candidate’s knowledge of the relevant subject.

Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify in the written exam are called for the Physical Standard Test, where their physical standards like height, weight, chest measurements are checked.
