Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering for Sub Inspector (Works) post and Diploma in Electrical Engineering for Junior Engineer /Sub Inspector (Electrical) post from a recognized institution.

1. Sub Inspector (Works) – Pass Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Government.

2. Junior Engineer /Sub Inspector (Electrical) – Pass Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Government.

Age Limit(As on 15.04.2024): The age of applicants should be between 18 to 25 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

1. Sub Inspector (Works) – Not exceeding 30 years

2. Junior Engineer /Sub Inspector (Electrical) – Not exceeding 30 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

• For SC/ ST Candidates: 5 years
• For OBC Candidates: 3 years

Salary: Selected candidates will be entitled to a handsome salary package along with various allowances as per BSF norms. The exact salary details will be mentioned in the official notification.

Selection Process:

1st phase (Written Examination)

2nd Phase (Documentation, Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test)

Written Examination: Applicants will undergo a written examination comprising objective-type questions to assess their knowledge and skills relevant to the job profile.

Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualified candidates in the written exam will be called for PST/PET, where their physical fitness will be evaluated as per BSF standards.

Medical Examination: Finally, selected candidates will undergo a comprehensive medical examination to ensure they meet the medical standards prescribed by BSF.
