Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for each position may vary, and candidates are advised to check the official notification available on the website for specific qualifications and experience required for each post. Medical Officer – MBBS or equivalent degree from Institution recognized by Medical council of India. Should be registered in the National Medical Commission. Basic Knowledge of Computer

Preferential Qualification: Diploma /MD Public Health, Tuberculosis & Chest diseases. One Year Experience in RNTCP. Basic knowledge of computers

DRTB/HIV – TB Coordinator – Graduate. Certificate course in computer operation (minimum two months). Permanent two-wheeler driving license and should be able to two wheeler.

Preferential Qualification: At least 2 years of work experience under RNTCP or 5 years’ experience in any public health programme in a supervisory capacity. Good communication skills in local language & willing to travel in the area of work.

District PPM Coordinator (DOOMC) – MBA / PG Diploma in Management / Health Administration from Recognized Institute or University. Certificate Course in MS office. Permanent two-wheeler driving license and should be able to drive two wheeler. One year work experience

Preferential Qualification : Preference will be given to those who have worked in the field of Development / Health at District / State level. Basic Knowledge of computers.

Senior Treatment Supervisor (STS) – Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Recognized sanitary inspector’s course. Certificate course in MS Office Permanent two-wheeler driving License and should be able to drive two-wheeler

Preferential Qualification: Tuberculosis Health Visitor’s recognized course. Govt. recognized degree / diploma in Social Work or Medical Social work. Successful completion of basic training course (Govt. recognized) for multi-Purpose health workers)

Data Entry Operator (DEO) –  (10+2) with Diploma in computer application or equivalent recognized by the council for technical education. Typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English and Tamil. Should be well conversant with various computer programme including MS Word, Excel and simple statistical packages.

Preferential Qualification: At least one year experience in related field

Lab Technician –  Graduate in Microbiology or Twelfth (10+2) and 2 Years Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology Recognized by DME.

Preferential Qualification : One year experience in RNTCP or Sputum smear microscopy

TB Health Visitor – Graduate in science or Twelfth (10+2) in science and two year course in MPHW/ LHV/ ANM/ Health worker. Or Tuberculosis health visitors recognized course. Certificate course in MS Office.

Preferential Qualification: Training course for MPW or recognized sanitary Inspector’s course

DRTB Counselor – Graduate Degree in Social Work /Sociology/ Psychology. Basic Knowledge of Computer 3. Permanent two wheeler driving License and should be able to drive two wheeler

Preferential Qualification: Masters degree / PG Diploma in social work /sociology /psychology. Experience in 12NTCP or worked as counsellor. Basic knowledge of computers

Age Limit: The Maximum age limit for candidates applying for all the above posts should be 50 years. Age relaxations may apply to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules.

Salary: The salary for each position will be as per the norms of the Chengalpattu District Health Society and will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected candidates.
