Eligibility Criteria:
Project Associates – MFSc degree in Fish Nutrition/Fish Physiology & Biochemistry/ Aquaculture/ Aquatic Animal Health Management/ Environmental Management/ Fish Biotechnology and other relevant disciplines for the project. MSc in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Zoology /Marine Biology and other relevant disciplines for the project. M. Tech/M.Sc. in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology. Research/work experience in the relevant disciplines for the project and enthusiasm to pursue PhD.
Emoluments: The candidates fulfilling any one of the following criteria will be getting an emolument of Rs. 38440/- per month.
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests (NET) including lectureship (Assistant professorship) and GATE.
b. The candidates got admission to MFSc/MSc/MTech through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as ICAR, DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. and completed post -graduation.
Those candidates not fulfilling any one of the above criteria will be getting an emolument of Rs. 31000/- per month.
Project Assistant – Graduate in Life Sciences Should be able to assist for feeding trials, feed preparation and laboratory analysis. Post-graduation in the relevant discipline for the project and enthusiasm to pursue PhD.
Age Limit:
- Project Associates – Below 35 years for Men and 40 years for women (with relaxation for SC/ST and OBC Candidates as per Govt of India norms)
- Project Assistant – Below 50 years
Salary Details:
- Project Associates – Rs.35,000 /- (Consolidated) per month
- Project Assistant – Rs.15,000 /- (Consolidated) per month
