Eligibility Criteria For CRPF Recruitment 2022 322 Sports Person Posts

Essential Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University. [Candidates should note that Date of Birth and Name as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate will only be accepted for determining the age etc. No subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted. Candidates who doesn’t possess the essential educational qualification as on 31/12/2021shall not be eligible and need not apply.]
Sports Qualification
Team event (National) : The team of sportsperson must have won any medal in National Games/National Championships (Both Junior & Senior) or any recognized sports meet of national repute conducted under the aegis of respective Federation/Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during last three years from the date of publication of recruitment advertisement in Newspapers/websites
Individual/Team event (International) : Sportsperson of merit who have represented the Country in any international repute championship conducted under the aegis of respective Federation/Association during last three years from the date of publication of recruitment advertisement in newspapers/websites.
Order of Preference
- First Preference Candidates who have represented the country in an International Competition with the clearance of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports.
- Next Preference may be given to those who have represented a State/U.T. in the Senior or Junior level National Championships organized by the National Sports Federations recognized by Department of Youth Affairs & Sports or National Games organized by Indian Olympics Association and have won medals or positions up to 3rd place. Between the candidates participating in Senior and Junior National Championships/games, the candidates having participated and won medal in Senior National Championship should be given preference.
- In the event of tie, those who have secured a higher position or won more than one medal may be given the preference.
- Participation in individual and team event/item may be given the same preference.
- Preference may be given for winning highest medal and not for winning more than one medal/position.
Age Limit For CRPF Sports Person (As on 15-12-2022)
- HC/GD (against sports quota) : 18 to 23 years
Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Government Rules.
Application Fee For CRPF Sports Person
- An amount of Rs. 100/- will be charged as application fee from the candidates belonging to General and OBC category.
- However, no fee will be charged from candidates belonging to SC/ST community and women

How To Apply For Sports Person Posts – CRPF
- Eligible and desirous candidates should send their application in the prescribed proforma duly typed as given in Annexure-“A” filling up all columns on foolscap paper with two attested passport size photographs.
- One Photograph may be affixed on application form and another on the admit card at the space allocated for the purpose.
- Applicants must send their application to the authority as mentioned against each discipline in following column No. 3 along with fees of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) in the form of Postal Order/Demand Draft from State Bank of India drawn in favour of the Authority mentioned in Column No. 03and superscripting on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF SPORTSPERSON IN CRPF AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA-2022” along with the required documents within 30 days from the next day of publication of recruitment Advertisement.
- However, candidates belonging to far flung areas of States of NE Region, Ladakh Division of J&K, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District, Lahaul&Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Island, Lakshadweep can submit their application within 45 days from the next day of publication of recruitment Advertisement.
- The application received after the last/due date will not be entertained and summarily rejected.
- Incomplete application, in any respect will be rejected summarily and no correspondence will be entertained on this account.
