Eligibility Criteria: Candidates interested in applying for CSL Workmen posts must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not exceed 30 years as of the closing date of the application. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed SSLC (10th Standard) and possess a valid ITI (NTC) certificate in the relevant trade.
Salary: The selected candidates will be offered a competitive salary package for 1st year Rs.23300/- 2nd year Rs.24000/- 3rd year Rs.24800/-as per the guidelines of CSL. Additional allowances and benefits may also be applicable.
Selection Process: The selection process for CSL Workmen recruitment will consist of the following stages:
Objective type online Test
Practical Test
Objective Type Online Test: Candidates will have to appear for an online test to assess their knowledge and skills related to the trade.
Practical/Skill Test: Shortlisted candidates from the online test will be called for a practical/skill test, which will be conducted at CSL.
Physical Fitness Test: Candidates must meet the physical fitness standards prescribed by CSL.

No other mode of payment shall be accepted. Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee. All applicants for whom the fee is applicable i.e. except those belonging to SC/ST /PwBD should pay the application fee as stipulated above. It is important to note that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of application fee.
