Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the FDDI Recruitment 2024
Educational Qualification:
Sr Project Engineer/ Scientist (Ergonomics & Biomechanics) – Ph D in Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical sciences/Biomechanical Engineering OR M.Tech/ MSc in Biomedical Engineering/ Biomedical sciences OR M.Tech in Biomechanical Engineering (with Min. 55% marks). 3 years relevant working experience in Teaching / Research in reputed Institute/Industry for PhD candidate ii) 6 years relevant experience in Academia/ Research Institute/Industry for M Tech/ M Sc candidate
Associate Project Engineer/Scientist (Polymer & Knitting) – M Tech/ M Sc in Textile engineering equivalent from recognized University OR B Tech / B Sc in Textile engineering or equivalent from recognized University/Institute (with Min. 55% marks). 3 years relevant working experience in Research Institute/ Textile industries for B.Sc / B Tech Textile Engineering candidate.
Associate Footwear Designer (Design) – M. Des in Footwear Design & Production /M.Des in Footwear Design / M.Sc. in Creative Designing CADCAM (Footwear Design) or equivalent from recognized University/Institute OR B.Des in Footwear Design & Production /B.Des in Footwear Design / B.Sc. in Creative Designing CADCAM (Footwear Design) or equivalent from recognized University/Institute(with a min. of 55% marks). 3 years relevant working experience from sports shoes industry as designer for B Des /B.Sc candidate. Knowledge in latest designing softwares such as Fusion 360, Adobe, Auto CAD, Rhino, ICAD & CAD etc., simulation and modeling, soft design (2D, 3D, Line drawing).
Jr. Technologist (Testing Lab) – Dip in Engineering or Graduate Degree in any science subject (with a min. of 55% marks) from recognized University/Institute. 3 years relevant working experience in an ISO certified lab in products like Footwear/leather/textile/plastic/rubber/personnel protective equipment ii) Knowledge of relevant industry standards, footwear/leather market, quality, test methods (viz. SATRA/DIN/ISO/BIS/ASTM/AATCC/ EN) and testing protocols. Experience of various types of testing equipments/laboratory instruments and a strong understanding of analytical method. To work in a team. Good communication skill both verbal & written vi) Knowledge of MS word & excel.
Sr Project scientist (P&O) –Ph D in Prosthetics and Orthotics from recognized University /Institute with R.C.I. Registration No. OR Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics from recognized University /Institute with with R.C.I. Registration No. In case of Ph.D.- at least 3 years research or working experience in digital foot care insole making design with CNC machine, 3D Scanning with printer socket making technology for prosthesis, orthosis , Prosthesis and orthotic clinical fitment In case of Masters-At least 6 years research or working experience in digital foot care insole making design with CNC machine, 3D Scaning with printer socket making technology for prosthesis, orthosis , Prosthesis and orthotic clinical fitment.
Associate project scientist (Polymer Lab) –BE / B Tech in Plastic/Polymer/Chemical Engineering or equivalent from recognized University/institute (with a min. of 55% marks). 3 years relevant working experience in Industry ( preferably in footwear industry) in the area of mold flow analysis, synthetic leather preparation, processing and designing, characterization and testing,
Associate Project scientist (Ergonomics and Biomechanics Testing Lab ( Human Physiology)) – M.Sc. in Human Physiology/ M Sc in Sports science (Specialization in Sports Physiology) OR Masters in physiotherapy (Specialization in Sports biomechanics/ Rehabilitation) OR Masters in Sports Sciences from recognized Universities (with a min. of 55% marks). 1 year internship at (Sports Authority of India / any other research Institute) and knowledge on Biomechanics.
Technician : (P & O) – Diploma in Prothetic and Orthotic Engineering (2½ years Duration) and approved by RCI and MCI OR Graduate or 10+2 pass with Certificate course in Surgical Shoe Maker with a minimum of 6 months duration from a reputed organization approved by Govt. of India. OR One year certificate course in Prosthetics and Orthotics from any recognized school preferably approved by RCI and MCI. 3 years relevant working experience in Prosthetics and Orthotics or Hospital for certificate candidate. Relevant working experience in a Multiple Disability Rehabilitation Institute. ii) Technical skills to work with the complex tools, materials and machines used to create devices and appliances. iii) Communication skills to work with designers and other members of a team working on a medical device or appliance. iv) Analytical skills to translate designs and instructions into medical devices.

In Human Physiology with Ph.D. At least 3 years relevant working experience in Design Intervention/Ergonomics/Human Factors/Design & Process Management at Research Academia/Institute/Industry. Standardization and validation of methods to ensure maintaining scientific excellence and creating intellectual property.
Associate Project Engineer /Scientist (Advanced Printing) – M Tech/ M Sc in Textile engineering or equivalent from recognized University/Institute (Minimum 55 % Marks) OR B Tech / B Sc in Textile engineering OR B Des in Fashion Design or equivalent from recognized University/Institute (Minimum 55 % Marks). 1 year relevant work experience in Research Institute/ Textile industries/ Fashion product development industries on multicolor digital printing, Digital print development ,surface ornamentation, knowledge in Software’s like Adobe illustrator, Textile Print design, WILCOM or similar softwears. for M Tech/ M Sc candidate; ii)3 Years relevant work experience in Research Institute/ Textile industries/ Fashion product development industries on multicolor digital printing, Digital print development, surface ornamentation, knowledge in Software’s like Adobe illustrator, Textile Print design, WILCOM or similar softwears. for B.Sc / B Tech / B Des candidate.
Project Technician (Advanced Printing (Digital Fabric Print pre & post process) ) – Diploma in Textile Technology / Handloom Technology/ Fashion Technology OR 10th / 10+2 with Experience in Digital Fabric printing Pre and Post Process. 7 years essential for Non-diploma candidate Desirable : For Diploma Candidates Minimum 02 years of experience in Digital Fabric Printing Pre and Post process
Strategy Developer / Manager (HO) (Quality) – Graduation in Footwear Design and Masters in Marketing from recognized University / Institute ( Minimum 55 % Marks) OR Graduation in Footwear Design and MBA in Sales/Retail Marketing from recognized University / Institute ( Minimum 55 % Marks). 3 years relevant working experience in footwear industry.
Sr.Project Engineer (Incharge / Head) – Ph D in Leather Technology /Polymer technology/ Chemical engineering OR Masters Degree in Leather Technology/Polymer Technology or Polymer Science / Chemical Engineering or equivalent. After Ph.D. 3 years relevant working experience as Teaching / Research Institute / industries in case of Ph.D. 6 years relevant working experience in Academia/ Research Institute/ Industries for M Tech/ M.Sc candidate.
Project Technician (3D Scan Lab) – Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering /Mechanical Engineering (minimum 3 years course) from a recognized University/Institute.(with min. 55% marks). Knowledge in Sensor development.
Sample maker (Shoe making) (Design Studio & Product Dev Lab ) –10+2 with six month certificate course in footwear technology (with min. 55% marks). Atleast 8 years’ working experience in the footwear industry in sample making with specialization shall be in lasting and sample grade finishing quality sample making.

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
