Educational qualification :
1.Dept. of Tamil :
• A pass in M.A. Tamil Degree with 55% marks
• Ph.D. in Tamil
• Qualified in NET/SLET examination
• Area of specialization in Grammar, Sangam Literature, Modern Literature and Cultural Studies
• College / University Level Teaching experience at least three years.
2. Dept. of Hindi :
• A pass in M.A. Hindi with 55% marks
• Qualified in NET/SLET/Ph.D. in Hindi
• College / University Level Teaching experience at least three years.
3. School of English and Foreign Languages :
• M.A. English, M.Phil. English with NET/SLET or Ph.D.
4. Centre for Geoinformatics :
• M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Geoinformatics / Geography / Geology and Ph.D.
• Teaching and Research experience in Application of Geoinformatics in Natural Resource and Disaster Management.
• Practical knowledge in RS, GIS, DIP and development of SDSS.
5. Centre for Studies in Sociology :
• Post Graduate Degree in Sociology with a minimum of 55%
• NET/SET in Sociology
• M.Phil./Ph.D. degree candidates will be preferred
Specialization:
• Political Sociology/ Sociology of Development / Sociology of Media and Communication.
6. Physical Education and Yoga Centre :
• A Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports or Physical Education or Sports Science.
• Candidates must have cleared the NET or SLET/SET, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in Physical Education and Sports or Sports Science.
Desirable:
• Represented the University / College at the inter-university / inter-collegiate competitions or the State and / or national championships.
• Specialized in Basketball / Volleyball
• Preference will be given to candidate with University team handling experiences.
7. Dept. of Economics :
• M.A. Economics / M.A. Econometrics / M.Sc. Mathematical Economics with M.Phil. / Ph.D. / NET/SLET in any branch of Economics.
Desirable:
• Specialization in Agriculture Economics / Public Finance.
8. Dept. of Physics :
• M.Sc. in First Class with Ph.D. in Physics
Specialization:
• Material Science/ Condensed Matter Physics
Experience:
• Minimum period of at least 3 years in College/University Level.
9. Dept. of Chemistry :
• Ph.D. in Chemistry.
Specialization:
• Organic Chemistry / Physical Chemistry
10. Dept. of Home Science :
• M.Sc./M.Phil. with NET/SET/Ph.D. in Textiles and Clothing/Costume Design/Apparel and Fashion Designing/Textile Finishes.
11. Dept. of Computer Science and Applications :
• M.C.A / M.Sc. (Computer Science) / M.Sc. (Information Technology) with SET/NET/Ph.D.
Specialization:
• Digital Image Processing / Medical Image Processing / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning/ Deep Learning/Network Security / Information Security / Emerging Technologies.
12. School of Agriculture and Animal Sciences :
• A Master’s Degree in Agronomy from a recognized University with not less than 55% of marks (50% for SC and ST or equivalent OGPA). Candidates must have cleared the ICAR-NET/Ph.D.
• A Master’s Degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from a recognized University with not less than 55% of marks (50% for SC and ST or equivalent OGPA). Candidates must have cleared the ICAR-NET/Ph.D.
13. B.Voc. (Farm Equipments Operation and Maintenance)- DDU-KK (Assistant Professor on Contract Basis) :
• M.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) with specialization in Farm Machinery from a recognized University.
• ICAR-NET clearance and Ph.D. in the relevant fields are preferable.
• Preference will be given to candidates with Teaching / Research Experience
