Young and Energetic Indian Man are required to fill up the vacancies in the Indian Air Force. As already told the candidates should be of Indian Nationality and Unmarried. Citizens of Nepal is also eligible. Not all the Unmarried Indian Men can apply for this post. Candidates should be falls under the limit dates of birth lock to apply. Airman Post are detailed as Group x of Technical Trades and Group Y of Non Technical except Automobile Technician, GTI,IAF (P),IAF(S) and Musician Trades.
Requirement Criteria for Group X and Group Y IAF Airmen
Male Unmarried Candidates should be within the birth dates of 07.07.1997 to 20.12.2000 in which both dates are inclusive. If the candidates birth lock exceeds the given date then they will be automatically reject for the above post recruitment. Candidates should have valid educational background of 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination from Recognised Educational Board. Candidate should also posses 3 year Diploma in Engineering courses from the recognised Institution. The Selection Process will be held as stages such as Written test, Adaptability Test, Physical Fitness Test, Interview and Medical Examination. Selected candidates should get the pay scale as the Stipend amount of ₹11,400/- for every month until the completion of the training. Gross emoluments should be provided such as Grade Pay, Military Service Pay, Dearness Allowance. Grade X pay is an additional pay only applicable for technical trades.
Medical Standards for the Eligible Airmen of IAF
IAF is peculiarly interested to select candidates who fit the physical standards as well. As the Airman can work anywhere in any part of the world. They should be physically and mentally fit to adapt themselves to change in Climate and Surroundings. Standards of the Medical condition is categorized by the Indian Air Force are as below

Candidates should also Note that only the tribes who have tradition of tattoos in their body should only permitted. No candidates should allowed with un authorized permanent tattoo in their body for the recruitment. Candidates have to submit the photograph of the tattoo with the details of size and type to the recruitment panel. Decision of the recruitment panel should be final. For the traditional Tribes tattoo should also allowed in the parts like inner face of the fore arms (inside of elbow to the wrist), Back (dorsal) part of the hand/reverse side of palm.
