Eligibility Criteria: Before embarking on the application process, candidates must meticulously review the eligibility criteria outlined by the Indian Army for the TGC-140 recruitment:

Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.

Age Limit: Candidates should be between the ages of 20 to 27 years as on 01 Jan 2025. (Candidates born between 02 Jan 1998 and 01 Jan 2005, both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply. Candidates studying in the final year of engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing Engineering Degree Examination along with mark sheets of all semesters/years by 01 Jan 2025 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA). Such candidates will be inducted on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA) as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.

Note: All final year appearing candidates whose final year/ final semester exam will be scheduled after 01 Jan 2025 are not eligible to apply for this course.

Military Service Pay (MSP)- MSP to the officers from the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier ₹ 15,500/- p.m. fixed.

Fixed Stipend for Cadet Training.

Stipend to Gentlemen or Lady Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service academies i.e. during training period at OTA. Rs.56,100/-p.m.

*On successful commissioning, the pay in the Pay Matrix of the Officer Commissioned shall be fixed in first Cell of Level 10 and the period of training shall not be treated as commissioned service and arrears on account of admissible allowances, as applicable, for the training period shall be paid to cadets.
