Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for these Group C posts vary based on the specific position. Generally, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Store Keeper Grade II – 12th Pass from recognized Board or University. One year’s experience in handling Stores from any recognized firm or Central or State Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking.
Engine Driver – Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized Boards. Certificate of competency as Engine Driver from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent.Two years service as Sarang on a Vessel of over four hundred Boat Horse Power.
Motor Transport Driver (OG) – 10th Standard pass. Must possess valid driving license for both heavy and light Motor Vehicles. Should have at least two years experience in driving Motor Vehicles. Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
Carpenter (Skilled) – Matriculation or equivalent. Should qualify a trade entrance examination. Should have successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognized/ reputed workshop in the relevant trade under Apprenticeship Act 1961 or under any other recognized Apprenticeship Scheme. OR Should have completed training course in the relevant trade from an ITI recognized for this purpose and have 1 year trade experience. OR
4 years experience in the trade for which no training is available in the Industrial Training Institute or other recognized institutions.
Multi Tasking Staff (Peon) – Matriculation or equivalent pass. Two years experience as Office Attendant.
Lascar 1st Class – Matriculation or equivalent pass. Three years service on a Ship or Craft.
Multi Tasking Staff (Sweeper/ Safaiwala) – Matriculation or equivalent pass. Two years experience in cleanship in any recognized firm.
Age Limit (As on 02.10.2023) : The age limit for applicants is usually between 18 to 30 years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
