Eligibility Criteria: Before applying, candidates are advised to thoroughly review the Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD) 2024 notification to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. The key eligibility criteria include:
Educational Qualification:10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years. Candidates should be born between 01 Sep 2002 to 31 Aug 2006(both dates inclusive) applying for post of Navik (GD). Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if, posts are reserved for them.

Selection Process: The selection process for the Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD) 2024 recruitment involves multiple stages:
Stage- I (Computer Based Examination)
Stage – II (Assessment/Adaptability Test, Physical Fitness Test, Document Verification & Recruitment Medical Examination)
Stage – III (Document Verification, Pre-enrolment Medicals at INS Chilka)
Stage – IV (Training at INS Chilka)
Candidates will have to appear for a written examination that will assess their knowledge in subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Basic Chemistry, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs. This stage includes a 1.6 km run, 20 squats, and 10 push-ups. Candidates who qualify in the written examination and PFT will undergo a thorough medical examination to ensure they meet the prescribed medical standards.
