Indian Navy Recruitment 2023 1365 Agniveer (SSR) Posts: The Indian Navy has released a job notification for the recruitment of Agniveer (SSR) for the 02/2023 (November 23) batch. Online applications are invited from eligible unmarried male and unmarried female candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as laid down by the Government of India. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1365 vacancies, including a maximum of 273 positions exclusively for female candidates. These vacancies will be allocated in a state-wise manner to ensure equitable representation.

Eligibility Criteria: To apply for the Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) posts, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility conditions. The following criteria should be met:
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age: Applicants must have been born between 1st November 2002 and 31st January 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
Marital Status: Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrolment as Agniveer in IN. Candidates will have to give a certificate of being ‘unmarried’ at the time of enrolment. Agniveers shall not be permitted to marry during their entire tenure of four years in the IN. A candidate shall be dismissed from service if he/ she marries during his/her tenure or is found to be already married despite giving certificate of being unmarried.
Salary and Benefits: Selected candidates will receive a handsome salary package along with various allowances and benefits as per the Indian Navy rules and regulations. AGNIVEER will be given one time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprising their monthly contribution with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below:-

Selection Process: Selection process of Agniveer (SSR) – 02/2023 batch will include two stages i.e. Shortlisting (computer based online examination), ‘Written Examination, PFT and Recruitment Medical Examination’. The selection stages include:
Computer-Based Examination (CBT): The first stage is a CBT that tests the candidates’ knowledge in Mathematics, Science, English, and General Knowledge.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Those who qualify in the CBT will undergo a PFT that includes a 1.6 km run, push-ups, and squats.
Medical Examination: Candidates who pass the PFT will undergo a thorough medical examination to ensure they meet the medical standards required by the Indian Navy.
How to Apply: Interested candidates can apply for the Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) posts through the online mode. The online application facility will be available on the official website of the Indian Navy at www.agniveernavy.cdac.in. Application Fee: An examination fee of Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five hundred fifty only) plus 18% GST has to be paid by candidate during the online application through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI. Admit card will be issued for the examination only to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee.
