Candidates possessing graduation degree from relevant courses with minimum 60% marks are eligible to apply for the post. So before applying for the post, aspirants are kindly advised to read the notification thoroughly. Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming in the ‘Creamy Layer’ are not entitled to OBC reservation. Such candidates should indicate their category as ‘General’. Applications will be accepted only online mode through IRDAI website. No other mode for submission of application is available. Upper age relaxation will be provided as per government rule.

Selected candidates will draw a good starting basic pay with allowances like HRA, CCA, Dearness allowances etc. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories and wish to avail the benefit of pre-examination training for Phase – I On-line Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) and Phase – II Descriptive Examination may register their names and other details with IRDAI by making an application as given in Annexure to this The pre-examination training will be held at Hyderabad and/or New Delhi depending upon the number of candidates seeking pre-examination training. Eligibility Criteria for IRDA Recruitment 2017
Educational Qualification
For Actuarial Post: Candidate should possess graduation from recognised university with 60% marks and pass in 9 papers of institute of actuaries of India (IAI) examination.
For Accounts Post: Candidate should possess Graduation from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks and ACA/AICWA/ACMA/ACS/CFA
For Legal Post: Candidate should possess Graduation from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks and LL.B with 60% marks.
For General Post: Candidate should possess Graduation from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks.
Age Limit for IRDA Recruitment 2017
As on 5.9.2017 candidate should Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 5.9.2017, i.e., candidates should have been born not earlier than 6.9.1987 and not later than 5.9.1996 (both days inclusive). Upper age relaxation limit will be provided as per government rule.
Application Fee for IRDA Recruitment 30 Assistant Manager Posts
- For SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen Rs. 100 will be chargeable only as intimation charge.
- For General, OBC candidates Rs. 650 will be chargeable as examination fee and intimation charge.
Pay Scale Details for IRDA Assistant Manager Posts
Selected candidates will draw a good starting basic pay of with allowances like HRA, CCA, Dearness allowances etc. The candidates employed elsewhere and joining IRDAI will be fixed at the minimum of basic pay in the scale of pay applicable to the post. There will be some qualification allowance for post wise category.

- Candidates will have to click on “Click here for New Registration” link
- A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be sent to the registered email. Please note the Reg. Number and password for future use.
- Candidates should fill in the details at the appropriate places very carefully and click on the “FINAL SUBMIT” button at the end of the online application format.
- Upload scanned copy of photograph and signature in a prescribed length on a provided space.
- Pay the application fee
- Click the submit button.
