Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who wish to apply for the IRDAI Assistant Manager Recruitment 2023 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Assistant Manager (AM) (Actuarial) – Graduation with minimum 60% marks and 7 papers passed of IAI as per 2019 curriculum
Assistant Manager (AM) (Finance) – Graduation with minimum 60 % marks and ACA/AICWA/ACMA/ACS/CFA
Assistant Manager (AM) (Law) – Bachelor’s Degree in Law with minimum 60% marks
Assistant Manager (AM) (IT) – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science/ Software Engineering) with minimum 60% marks OR Masters in Computers Application with minimum 60% marks OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a post graduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in Computers / Information Technology with minimum 60% marks
Assistant Manager (AM) (Research) – Master’s Degree or 2-years Post Graduate Diploma in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics & Informatics with a minimum of 60% marks
Assistant Manager (AM) (Generalist) – Graduation with minimum 60% marks
Notes:
- All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. of India/approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
- Candidates may opt for either of Actuarial/ Accounts/ Legal/ IT/ Research as per the respective streams and/or General stream in the Application form. Selection will be on the basis of option exercised and performance as per cut-off marks in the respective streams.
Age Limit (As on 10.05.2023) :
Assistant Manager (AM) – Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 10.05.2023, i.e. candidates should have been born not earlier than 11.05.1993 and not later than 10.05.2002 (both days inclusive). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules
Selection Process: The selection process for the IRDAI Assistant Manager Recruitment 2023 will consist of three stages:
Online Preliminary Examination: The preliminary examination will be conducted online and will consist of objective-type questions. The duration of the exam will be one hour.
Online Main Examination: Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination. The main examination will also be conducted online and will consist of objective-type questions. The duration of the exam will be two hours.
Interview: Candidates who qualify in the main examination will be called for an interview.
Exam Center In Tamil Nadu: Chennai
Salary: Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.44,500/- per month in the scale of Rs. 44500-2500(4)-54500-2850(7)-74450-EB-2850(4)-85850-3300(1)- 89150 (17 years) and other allowances, like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Qualification Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Grade Allowance and other perquisites as approved from time to time etc., as admissible from time to time. The candidates employed elsewhere and joining IRDAI will be fixed at the minimum of basic pay in the scale of pay applicable to the post. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments for Assistant Manager is approximately Rs.1,30,000/- (excluding qualification allowance, wherever applicable). Selected candidates will be governed by the defined contribution New Pension Scheme (NPS).
