Who we are

In India irrigation department includes a network of major and minor canals from Indian rivers. Irrigation department will take care of the groundwater well-based system and other rainwater harvesting projects for agricultural activities. It helps to improve food, security, reduce dependence on monsoons, improve agricultural productivity and create rural job opportunities. Even dams are used for irrigation projects that contribute to producing electricity and transport facilities along with the drinking water supplies for growing population, control floods and prevent droughts. Every year, it will release the huge number of vacancies. Candidates who have the interest to work under the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department have applied for the posts before the last date. 

UP Exam pattern

The Exam will be conducted as soon as the release of admit card which will be expected before 10 to 15 days from the exam date. The selection process consists of two levels such as written exam and Personal Interview. The Written exam will be of 3 papers such as Paper I, Paper II and Paper III. The Paper I will be compulsory for all the candidates, whereas Paper II and III will be as the choice made by the candidates. The total marks is 350 Marks which later followed by interview will carries 50Marks. The time duration to complete the exam is 3 Hours.  The Paper I has General Hindi for 50marks. Paper II has Civil,meachanical,Electrical and Agricultural Engineering papers for 150Marks.  The Paper III also has same pattern like Paper II for 150 Marks.

UP Irrigation Jr Engineer Exam Pattern

• The written test consists of objective type questions
• There are 3 papers in the exam
• Paper-I is compulsory for all the candidates
• Paper II & III exam will conduct based on which candidate choose the subject
• The total exam will conduct for 350 marks
• Followed by interview for 50 marks
• The time duration of the exam is 3 hours

Vacancies

As this recruitment is to fill 3523 vacancies in total, the Junior Engineer Post have to be filled with 2650 seats and Assistant Engineer to be filled is 873 Seats. Make your preparation more effective from now onwards.
