No, there is no optional subjects or Topics that you can choose in tnpsc mains examination. It is not like a UPSC examination.

The subjects, syllabus and the pattern of the examination is fixed by the board of Tamilnadu Public Service Commission. The only option you can choose is the writing language. You can opt for either tamil or english in the TNPSC main exam.
