Educational Qualification:

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Civil) – BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electrical) – BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) – BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or allied subjects as electives or as a core subject in any of the semesters, with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Architecture) – Bachelor degree in Architecture with an aggregate minimum of 65% or CGPA 6.84/10 and registration with Council of Architecture.

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Civil) – Autonomous Body [PRL] – BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Architecture) – Autonomous Body [PRL] – Bachelor degree in Architecture with an aggregate minimum of 65% or CGPA 6.84/10 and registration with Council of Architecture.

NOTE: Graduation should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University. Candidates who are going to complete the above course in the academic year 2022-23 are also eligible to apply, provided final degree is available by 31.08.2023 and their aggregate is 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available).

Age Limit (As on 24.05.2023) : The maximum age limit for candidates is 28 years as of 24th May 2023. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.

Salary Details: Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of ₹.56,100/- p.m. In addition, Dearness Allowance [DA], House Rent Allowance [HRA] and Transport Allowance are payable as per extant rules on the subject. The employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme. Further, medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidised canteen, limited quarters facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, House Building Advance, etc. are admissible as per Central Government orders.

Selection Process: The selection process for the ISRO ICRB Scientist/Engineer `SC’ Recruitment 2023 will consist of a written test followed by a personal interview. Written test will be conducted at eleven venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. However, ISRO reserves the right to cancel/change the written test venue and re-allot the candidates to any other test centre. The call letters for written test will be sent only to the registered e-mail ID of candidates.
