KPRB Kolkata Police Civic Volunteer Interview Date Selection Process 300 Posts: The Kolkata Police recruitment board has release the notification for 300 posts in which the Applications are invited in the prescribed format from Men /Women candidates for engagement as Civic Volunteers under Kolkata Police against newly sanctioned posts in terms of Government of West Bengal, Home & Hill Affairs Department.  The application are applied through offline mode only and the date already started from 21.09.2017. Preference would be given to the applicants who have done well in sports and have experience as NCC Cadet / Boy Scouts / NSS Guide / Civil Defence Volunteers etc. All Civic Volunteers will exhibit highest degree of discipline and devotion to Government duty. The Civic Volunteers will be liable to be demobilized-temporarily or permanently by D.C., H.G.O., Kolkata for any of the reasons like Involvement in any criminal case other than the petty cases, medically unfit or Long Unauthorized absence from duty etc. The candidate shall completed 8th standard pass from the recognised board and should have adequate skill in working on computer and have suitable certificate to claim their expertise.

While entering into the exam cell candidate should produce their printout of the admit card with valid original photo identity card. The examination cell does not permit candidates without the admit card and identity card, the selected candidate will get a good allowances on monthly basis. Candidate should be selected by their performance in interview followed by the written examination and physical efficiency test. The previous question model papers are also available in the website for the candidates to practice for the examination well. The selection of the candidate is purely made by the decision of the Kolkata police recruitment board depending on the candidates performance.

Selection Procedure For Kolkata Police recruitment board

The selection of Civic Volunteers for engagement will be done through an interview by a selection committee comprising Deputy Commissioner of Police. The selected volunteers will have no claim as to the employ ability in Kolkata Police or any other department of the Government for such engagement. Each volunteer will have to undergo a 2 weeks training course Organized by D.C., H.G.O., Kolkata Police. After observing necessary selection procedure and completion of training, such Civic Volunteer will be inducted and deployed in different Traffic Guards of Kolkata Police.

Applicants will collect the application form from Traffic Training School, 8, Tarashankar Sarani, Kolkata 700 037 (Near Tala Park) and submit the application with enclosures at the same place after filling the application form properly.
