Madhya Pradesh State Engineering Examination has recently announced the recruitment examination for Assistant engineers (555 posts) of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Agricultural graduates. As per the official notification Vigyapan Sankhya 05/pariksha/2016 dt 14.6.2016 for MPPSC SES 2016, MP Lok Seva ayog commission has announced the dates for the Prelims and Main examination .Prelims examination will conduct on 20th and 21st August 2016 and Main Examination will conduct on 21st December 2016.

SES Assistant Engineer Vacancies 2016

As per the above official notification dated 14.6.2016 the Assistant Engineer vacancies for different posts are Urban Development and Environment Department civil (79 posts), Panchayat and Rural development department(34 posts), Public health mechanical department(30 posts) PWD department (41 posts), Lok Nirman vibhag(14 posts), Jal sansadhan (58 posts), Public health mechanical department(15 posts), Water resource department (14 posts), Former development and former welfare department (11 posts).

Recruitment Process 2016

As the assistant engineer vacancies are of 555 posts recruitment procedure is also of high standard because of the heavy competitors. The Recruitment Process is done by three stages. First candidates have to face the Preliminary Examination which is about to held on August. This examination is the screening examination. This examination will conduct for 500 marks which covers two papers of General studies and engineering subjects. Candidates who clear this examination only will get the call letter for the Main Examination .This examination will conduct for 600 Marks. Candidates who clear the Main examination will face the Personal Interview for 75 Marks to get selected for the above post. So start your preparation, here we gave you the exact syllabus for both prelims and main examination. Marks obtained on the prelims only for screening purpose and it will not be added to final selection as only main examination marks and personal interview marks will only be counted.

Syllabus for Prelims Examination

Prelims examination consist of two section .Paper 1 is General Ability Test( 200 marks of 100 Questions) which consist of three parts Part A as General Study of India with special references of Madhya Pradesh (100 marks of 50 questions), Part B as Hindi language (50 marks of 25 questions) and Part C as English language(50 Marks of 25 questions).

Paper 2 is the core syllabus which have 100 questions with each of 3 marks for total 300 Marks on Concerned engineering subjects.

Syllabus for Main Examination

Main exam will only concentrated on the concerned subject syllabus with in depth knowledge. One just can’t just memorizing the content of subject will face difficulty in this examination. One should learn the subject in depth with understanding of subjects. Main examination consist of two papers of concerned engineering subjects with 100 questions of 300 mark each.

Civil Engineering

Paper I will includes Structural Analysis, Structural Design, Construction Planning and Management and environment engineering.

Paper II includes Water resource, transportation and geo technical engineering.

Electrical Engineering

Paper I will includes Circuit Theory, Electro Magnetic field, Measurement and Instrumentation, Analog and digital Electronics, Power electronics and signals &systems.

Paper II includes three sections which of Control system and Microprocessor as part I and Heavy current papers like Electromechanical energy conversion, Industrial drives and utilization, Power systems analysis & control and switch gear protection as part II. Part III as light current papers like Analog communication, Digital communication, Satellite Communication, Radar and T, Microwaves & Antenna and Fiber Optic Systems.

Agricultural Engineering

Paper I includes Soil and Water engineering, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Watershed Hydrology, Irrigation Engineering, Groundwater, Wells and Pumps, Soil and water Conservation Structures, Drainage Engineering, Micro Irrigation Systems Design, Watershed Planning and Management, Minor Irrigation and Command Area Development

Paper II includes Farm power & Technology, Farm Machinery & Equipment, Farm Power, Field Operation & Maintenance of Tractor & Farm Machinery, Tractor Systems and Controls, Farm Power & Machinery Management, Renewable Energy Sources, Human Engineering Safety, Design and Maintenance of Greenhouse, Post Harvest Engineering and others, Crop Process Engineering, Drying and Storage Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Paper I includes Engineering Mechanics and Mechanics of Solids, Theory of Machines, Design of Machine Elements, Production Engineering, Production Management(Use of design data book is allowed).

Paper II includes Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Machines, Heat Transfer, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Energy Conversion Systems, Computer Aided Engineering(Use of steam table and psychometric charts are allowed)

Cut Off for Examination

Cut off marks are calculated based on No of vacancies ,Total No of Candidates applied and Difficulty of the examination. Candidates who score more than this margin mark or cut off mark will only attend the next level of process. As per the SES rules, only 15 percent of the above the total vacancies will be called for the main examination. So the Cut off marks for general candidates will be 40 Percent and for SC/ST will be 30 Percent.
