Know who we are
Consequent on the reorganization of States on 1st November 1956, eight districts of Madhya Pradesh have been transferred to the Bombay State and the remaining fourteen districts of the Madhya Pradesh along with Madhya Bharat, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh were merged to form the new Madhya Pradesh. As there was no Public Service Commission for the States of Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh, these being Part “C” States, and the recruitment for these States was being done by the Union Public Service Commission, the records of cases dealt with by the Union Public Service Commission for these two States were not available to the new Commission. The State Engineering Services Exam (SES) is conducted by the state government, hence based on the merit got in the exam the candidates are selected for the engineer posts.
AE Vacancies in MP
The Assistant Engineer vacancies are available for certain streams such as Civil, Agriculture, Mechanical and Electrical. The vacancies are segregated as AE Civil – 242 Posts, AE Agriculture – 278 Posts, AE Mechanical – 29 Posts and AE Electrical – 6 Posts. These posts are to be filled with well talented and skilled graduates in Engineering to make improvement in the commission department of Water Resource, Public Health Engineering, Panchayat and Rural Development, civil and mechanical.
AE Post Eligibilities
The Engineering graduates who completed their courses in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Agriculture from any recognised University are applicable with age limit of 21 to 40 yrs as on 1st Jan 2016. If candidates related to other state should attain 21 to 35 years as age criteria. Relaxation of age depends upon their category and also as per MP government norms.
Method of Selection
The AE vacancies for SES exams selection method consists of written exam i.e. Preliminary and Main Exam and Interview. The written exam involves all syllabuses which are related to their respective streams. The qualified candidates will be paid with package of Rs 15,600/- to 39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs 5,400/- per month.

Read the notification carefully, Go to the appropriate link to “apply online”. Fill all the fields which is mandatory without any mistakes and recheck often. Upload scanned Photograph and signature where ever needed in prescribed size. Make payment as follows, for General Category its Rs.1200 and for Others such as SC, ST,OBC & PWD category its Rs.600. Once payment is successful, then the application number will be generated for future purpose. Take Print out of that application.
MPPSC Admit Card
The MPPSC will conduct State Engineering Exam on 20th and 21st August 2016 between 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm in two sessions. So, admit card will be available 15days before the conduction of examination. Thus candidates are asked to check the official website frequently for more updates.
