The Government of India sets ups the National Council Of educational Research and Training (NCERT) in the year 1961. NCERT is an autonomous organisation started by the Government of India to implement and assist the central and state government policy for improving the quality of school education. NCERT Professor Recruitment 2017 Notification
Candidates who have completed their post graduate degree or equivalent from the recognised university with relevant courses are eligible to apply for the post. Candidates are advised to send the application form with related document s through post before the closing date to avoid rejection due to delay. The last date to send the application form is 18th August 2017. For your kind information, applications must have to reach the recruitment cell on or before 18th Aug’17 before 5PM. Eligibility Criteria for NCERT Professor Recruitment 2017
Educational Qualification

Application Fee
- Candidates belong to UR/OBC (Male) required to pay a fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) through online payment mode. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
- No application fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women/NCERT employees.
- Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination.
Pay scale Details
Selected candidates in post wise will get a salary mentioned below.
- Assistant Professor will be getting a scale of Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Average Grade Pay of 6,000 Rupees.
- Associate professor will be getting a scale of Rs. 37,400-67,000 with Average Grade Pay of 9,000 Rupees.
- Professor will be getting a scale of Rs. 37,400-67,000 with Average Grade Pay of 10,000 Rupees.

- Before applying for the post, the candidates must have a valid email id through which he/she will get registered with the online application portal.
- Fill the details in application form.
- Upload the scanned copy of the Passport size Photograph and signature in the Application form.
- After submission of the application, an acknowledgement page with a Unique Registration Number (URN) will appear
- Candidates are required to take print out of auto generated filled-in application format.
