NIE Recruitment 2023 23 Project Technician Posts: The Indian Council of Medical Research – National Institute of Epidemiology (ICMR-NIE) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Project Technician, Project Technical Officer, Project Semi-Skilled Worker, Junior Medical Officer/ Consultant (Non-medical), Project Research Assistant, and Project Technician III (Lab), among others. A total of 23 vacancies are available for these positions. Eligibility Criteria:
Project Technical Officer (Statistics): The candidate must have a Graduate degree in Statistics/Biostatistics from a recognized university with 5 years of work experience or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Biostatistics from a recognized university.
Project Technical Officer: The candidate must have a Graduate degree in Science/Engineering from a recognized university with 5 years of work experience or a Master’s degree in Science/Engineering from a recognized university.
Project Semi Skilled Worker: The candidate must have completed 10th Standard or equivalent.
Junior Medical Officer/ Consultant (Non-medical): The candidate must have a Master’s degree in Public Health/ Epidemiology/ Health Management from a recognized university.
Project Research Assistant: The candidate must have a Graduate degree in Science from a recognized university.
Project Technician III (Lab): The candidate must have a 12th pass in Science subjects and 2 years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or PMW or related subject or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years field/ laboratory experience*.
Project Technician II: The candidate must have a High School or equivalent with 5 years of experience in health-related fieldwork or a High School or equivalent with one year of experience in a health-related fieldwork and one-year certificate course in ANM/MPW or equivalent.

1. Project Technical Officer (Statistics) – Rs. 32,000/- per month
2. Project Technical Officer – Rs. 32,000/- per month
3. Project Semi Skilled Worker – Rs. 15,800/- per month
4. Junior Medical Officer/ Consultant (Non-medical) – Rs. 60,000/- per month (Consolidated)
5. Project Research Assistant – Rs. 31,000/- per month
6. Project Technician III (Lab) – Rs. 18,000/- per month
7. Project Technician II – Rs. 17,000/- per month
8. Project Research Assistant – Rs. 31,000/- per month
9. Project Consultant (Medical/Non-medical) – Medical: Rs.1,00,000/- per month Non-medical: Rs. 70,000/- per month
10. Project Scientist – C (Medical) – Rs. 64,000/- plus HRA per month
11. Project Scientist – B (Non-medical) (Statistics) – Rs. 48,000/- plus HRA per month
12. Project Technical Officer (Statistics) – Rs. 32,000/- per month
13. Project Scientist – B (Non-medical) – Rs. 48,000/- Plus HRA Per month

Selection Process: The selection process for the ICMR-NIE Project Technician Recruitment 2023 will be based on the candidate’s performance in a written test and interview.
