ICMR-NIRT Project Technician Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the above-mentioned positions vary as per the post. The candidates who wish to apply for the Project Scientist B (Non-Medical) post must have a Master’s degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university with two years of experience in a relevant field or a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field. For the Project Assistant (Field Investigator) post, the candidate must have completed a Graduate degree in Life Science/ Social Science/ Statistics/ Biostatistics from a recognized university. For the Project Technician III (Lab Technician) post, the candidate must have a 12th Pass in Science subjects and 2 years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT). For the Senior Project Assistant (UDC) post, the candidate must have a Graduate degree in any discipline with 5 years of experience in administration/ finance and accounts work.
ICMR-NIRT Project Technician Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The selection process for the above-mentioned positions will be based on the candidate’s performance in the written test and interview. The written test will consist of multiple-choice questions from the relevant field. The candidates who qualify for the written test will be called for an interview. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview.
ICMR-NIRT Project Technician Recruitment 2023: Salary
The salary for the Project Scientist B (Non-Medical) post will be Rs. 48,000 per month, and for the Project Assistant (Field Investigator) post, it will be Rs. 31,000 per month. The salary for the Project Technician III (Lab Technician) post will be Rs. 18,000 per month, and for the Senior Project Assistant (UDC) post, it will be Rs. 17,000 per month.
