Osmania University Common Entrance Tests (OUCET) are being conducted by Osmania University for admissions into various PG, PG Diploma and 5-Year Integrated Programmes offered by Osmania, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi and Palamuru Universities. The official notification was issued in 13th April 2016. Many aspirants eagerly applied for this examination from 15th April to 13th May 2016.Examination was conducted on June 8 to 16 June 2016.Examination result date is announced by the university on 29th June 2016. About OUCET 2016
The Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University has been successfully carrying out the gigantic task of conducting entrance tests and admissions into various courses offered by the University and its affiliating institutions since 2000-2001 academic year. Hence the entrance exam was conducted every year for selecting the eligible student for the academic year. For the academic year of 2016-17 about 81000 students are appeared for the the examination conducted on June 8 to 16 June 2016.
OUCET Examination 2016
The entrance tests in all the subjects, except that of M.P.Ed., will consist of 100 multiple choice objective questions for 100 marks. For M.P.Ed. Course, the entrance test will be of 75 multiple choice objective questions for 75 marks. The remaining 25 marks will be awarded by the Department of Physical Education, Osmania University for the Sports achievements of the candidates. The entrance test will be of 90 minutes duration.
Pattern of Entrance Test for Admission to M.Sc. Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Genetics, Microbiology and Nutrition & Dietetics is as follows: Candidates have to appear for a common entrance test, namely BCBTESFSGMN&D comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 Marks) and Part-B (One of the optional studied at B.Sc. level for 60 Marks. The optional are Physics, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology).
For 5 Yrs Integrated PG Programmes, the entrance test patterns are as follows:
- M.B.A – The paper has two parts –Verbal Ability, General Knowledge, Numerical Data Analysis, Reasoning and Intelligence.
- M.A. Applied Economics – The paper has five parts – Mathematics, General English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and General Economics
- M.Sc in Chemistry & Pharmaceutical Chemistry – The paper consist of four parts Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology Sections A & B are common for both M.P.C & B.P.C students. Section – C Mathematics is for M.P.C students and Section – D Biology is for B.P.C students
OUCET Result 2016
OUCET 2016 result will be released on Monday ,June 29 2016 at 12.30 PM. Students can check the result of OUCET 2016 by the below procedure. OUCET Cut OFF 2016
OUCET has received numerous applications as like every year. Candidates who have applied & appeared for the OUCET Exam are waiting for the Cut Off expected to get selected. For those candidates, Osmania University Officials released the Cut off Marks on their official site. Cut off marks usually depends on the following factors highest Marks Scored in the OUCET Exam, Total No. of candidates attended for the Exam, No. of Qualified Candidates in the OUCET, Total no. of Vacancies and also based on the exam difficulty.
OUCET Answer Key 2016
Osmania University released the answer key for the first time of OUCET 2016 entrance test preliminary answer keys corresponding to the subjects to which entrance test was conducted through their official website. Candidates who attempted the examination are advised to got through the key and in case of any objections, They may be submitted in writing with supporting material if possible to the director of Osmania university on or before 17.06.2016 by 5.00PM.
