OSSC Horticulture Extension Worker Examination Pattern
As we know the total post vacancies are listed as 736 in which 191 posts is for Horticulture Extension Worker and 545 posts for Village Agriculture Worker. The recruitment officials are planned to handle this recruitment with the written examination. As the written examination will provide the filtered list of candidates as per the desired cut off marks. The selected candidates will undergo the Interview section. Examination is the first level of selection in which questions are answered in Objective type. All the candidates are provided with options of 4 choices for each of the questions. Correct selection of answer will be awarded with one mark. The question is patterned into two papers. Each paper of Examination is conducted for the total duration of one and half hours. Paper I
Each of the paper in examination is pre defined with the content and number of questions to be enquired. Candidates have to note that the Paper I will be questioned for 120 marks. Mathematics will be weight aged with 50 questions and General Science with 70 questions . General Science is also contented from the subjects Physics with 20 questions, Chemistry with 20 questions, Biology with 20 questions. Paper II
In this Paper the total content of 100 marks questions are sub divided into General Studies with 50 marks, English Language with 25 marks and Odia language with 25 marks. The Odia knowledge must be important and the total mark of 25 is sub divided into Grammar with 15 marks, composition with 05 marks, Comprehension with 05 marks.
